Thursday night ownage.

I'm watching Hell's Kitchen. In the opening segment, i think Gordon Ramsey said the they had to throw away 20 beef wellingtons. Then he dropped 200,000 pennies on the group. So, a beef Wellington costs $100 for the steak only? Do you get a massage and while you eat the steak? C'mon man. Looks like that is one item I'm crossing off my bucket list.

Just before you go under the second-to-last bridge, when you see the empty shipyard, give me a call; I'll throw you a line.

Will do. You have room for my camper.

I'd like to try HHI. Sept is definitely our favorite time at WDW. Crowds are low and temps are great.

... and the MNSSHP. I still want to try MVMCP.

do they still allow you to bring a race time to the expo?
They did not allow it for this past year. That's why I mentioned you might want to look early. I think they had to be in by October or November this past year.

We did MNSSHP for the first time this year. We had an absolute blast. We really enjoyed being dressed up and roaming around the park. (Halloween isn't a big holiday for our family but we still really enjoyed it.) In fact we enjoyed it so much we decided if we liked MNSSHP we would really like MVMCP. We went back for that a couple months later and it was okay. It felt less special, I think because the guests weren't dressed up. The fireworks didn't seem to be as good as MNSSHP either. I'd definitely do both of them at least once, but MNSSHP is the one our family would choose to do again.

Surprisingly, HHIR and the BWV standard view are about the same number of points for a Spring Break trip (not counting Easter). I still think late Sept/first October is my favorite time, but I still must visit WDW in each month before making that conclusion.

The week after Labor Day was awesome! Hardly any lines anywhere :thumbsup2

Ummm....did someone forget to text the Canadian about a new thread opening???

Uh oh :scared1:

No I'm here. :lmao:

:lmao::lmao:

Yup. About 20 minutes from NH border and along the coast it is actually not further than that to actually hit the Maine border. We are considered just outside the "north shore" area of Massachusetts and right on Rt. 95. It takes me between 2 and 2.5 hours to get to CT.

Are you close to the Mohegan Sun/Foxwoods area? Next time I head down, maybe we could find a time to have lunch/dinner. I will be in New London, CT in June for a hoop tourney. Closer to there?
I'm 1h15m away from the casinos. I live midway between Hartford & Danbury on 84. If you hit the casino in the summer I'd love to meet up. June is a no go for me though. I'll be working like a dog. pluto:

:thumbsup2

We can't wait - it's not our first time staying at BLT, but it is our first time as owners there.
:thumbsup2

What happens when you stay DVC for the first time but not at your home resort? Will it feel as good? :confused3

I have been studying those resales closely. I know we could just rent points, but I like the option of going to WDW and then on to Vero or Hilton Head in off setting years.
Make sure you check the thread I took over managing.

MNSSHP is much better IMO.

Sorry, my Iphone ate my list. But Siri does keep me updated on baseball stats.
Should of got an android.

Oh that's good to know. I'll have to hit a 10K in October then.

Jim- Any update on Niagara in July?

Good morning Dads and happy Wednesday. Wish me luck as Friday I have to go in for an outpatient procedure to get rid of some big kidney stones. Having pain in the right side as a stone is moving around and since it is a 1/2 inch it ain't passing on its own. So gonna have Shock Wave Lithotripsy which is basically sound waves that break up the stones so they become a bunch of smaller ones so they can be passed. Also have 6 big stones in the left kidney but that side will have to get blasted at another time as they can only do one side at a time. I will be out cold for the procedure and should be minimal after effects other than passing the "sand" left behind :scared:

Ouch, good luck!

I totally forgot to tell y'all, my Disney family is adding one,I will be a uncle!, my brother and SIL are due around Halloween. And to add a bit of Disney if it's a boy, his name will be Luke (after Skywalker).

Congrats!

Hey Dads
With the land part of the trip over, just wanted to say it was a good trip. FP+ is not my favorite but I hear the news stories that they are changing it. Thankfully, Illinois had its spring break later so we got on all the rides we wanted. Oddly, only saw a few brazilians this trip. Most people were good natured and happy. Few butt monkeys were there but I think this has been my favorite trip so far. And I met three awesome dads and grace made friends for the June 2015 cruise. Hope you all are having an awesome week.

Happy Sails, safe travels

In on page 10. Maybe I will get a chance to catch up on the weekend. We have a birthday party to attend at Chuck E. Cheese so it sounds like a good opportunity.

A good opportunity to what, test Ultra Migraine Relief Tylonal?

We shoot at those mean old black targets.... 196 rounds down range and I walked away getting expert marksman last time I missed it by one shot wearing the gas mask. It sure beat a day at work tho... Sadly I have to do that tomorrow.

It's crazy to think DS is 359 days old. I'll have to post a picture of his cake I think this is a group that will appreciate it.

Happy Birthday to DS!

I grew up in Naugatuck. I'm going to guess you're near Southington?

Trip so yay I'll be up at 5cnt trying to get a spot that is prob already gone but gotta try, only trying for 2 ADRs for this trip, we are planning to make it as open of a trip as possible, didn't know that was possible lol.

Happy Friday guys.....struggling to keep my eyes open this morning....:surfweb:

Thank you, BoG dinner , it's a MNSSHP expected so holding on to hope on that one and Kona Cafe for breakfast, that one should work out. If BoG doesn't pan out then we will prob do dinner at hotel before MNSSHP.

I like the way they decorate the park as well. I know you can see some during the day, but they add those extra effects for the party.

That's when DW and I honeymooned there in 2000. It was hot, but no lines at all.

:

I'm thinking it still applies. Before DVC, I wanted to do everything each trip at WDW, and that is not possible. Now, we are way more relaxed and have more fun.

Good morning guys, it's blow up the kidney stones day!
sir

Continued prayers.

We called right at the 7 month mark and only could get an ADR for BoG for 7:00 PM. I was disappointed because I wanted to eat before the MNSSHP started. it was still fun. Good luck on both.
