Oh wow… i didn't realize you were that far north.

Yup. About 20 minutes from NH border and along the coast it is actually not further than that to actually hit the Maine border. We are considered just outside the "north shore" area of Massachusetts and right on Rt. 95. It takes me between 2 and 2.5 hours to get to CT.

Are you close to the Mohegan Sun/Foxwoods area? Next time I head down, maybe we could find a time to have lunch/dinner. I will be in New London, CT in June for a hoop tourney. Closer to there?

No we were in Bangor yesterday but no plans to go back until probably June. DS played in a soccer tournament around Portland/NH last year and I suspect that they will be going again.

Remind me as it gets closer. We have a couple more tourney's to the north. It may be worth trying to get a meet if we are close.

I like Portland. Great oyster bar right on the harbor.

Let me know if you go, we're up in Maine quite a bit in the summer.

We will have most of the day Saturday to do some dad/DD stuff. Games are early morning. Don't think DD will actually eat an oyster so that may be out.:rotfl2:

Funny, it may be easier to meet you in Maine than for lunch.:confused3:lmao::lmao:

I don't have the luxury of a badge, flashing lights and a gun. :lmao:

Your just not trying hard enough. They sell some versions of all three at Walmart.:scratchin

. I think you meant your last day at the office not working.:lmao::lmao: Have fun storming the castle!

Right on both points. :lmao:

You can get a variety of all 3 at your nearest toy store. Let us know how that works out for you.

Hah...good point. Need new smartphone. Mine is three years old, so she ain't so smart anymore....but I'm not sure I plan to cut down on the fishing anytime soon:lmao:

My phone is not the only thing smarter than me. I wouldn't cut back on the fishing either.

Hey Dads
With the land part of the trip over, just wanted to say it was a good trip. .

Have fun storming the boat.

Must be nice, working through Saturday here.

Hope you all have fun.

Thanks. That evil boss making you work weekends now?

In on page 10. Maybe I will get a chance to catch up on the weekend. We have a birthday party to attend at Chuck E. Cheese so it sounds like a good opportunity.

Good luck. You may the extraction team to be on standby.

Norm ate all the dues again.:sad2::sad2:

And I was gonna split them with you next time. Now, no soup for you.

Will do. I'm not sure if they will be attending this year but I think there is a good chance.

A crappy rainy day here. Got a Pin in the mail today. Oh, how I would like to use it for a quick trip.

Couldn't get out of this one, it's government sponsored and our president is attending as well.

Sounds extra fancy. Want to fly me up to add some culture and class to this swanky shindig. :lmao:

The rain has been here now about 3 hours. Maybe our house will just float down the rivers until we get to Paradise Falls, er..., New Orleans. We'll call this one Floaters. :lmao:

Have you ever gotten one and thought "ughhh! that would be aweful"?

Actually yes. We got a Pin while we were waiting on our DVC resale contract to thru ROFL. And, surprisingly, we haven't received a Pin since. :confused3

We can't wait - it's not our first time staying at BLT, but it is our first time as owners there.

It feels even better when you are DVC owners. It is terrible to leave, but to know you will be returning at least once a year for the next 30 years makes it a little easier.

I have been studying those resales closely. I know we could just rent points, but I like the option of going to WDW and then on to Vero or Hilton Head in off setting years.

I think I've been there... I'm not much for oysters, but they had good beer!

Just before you go under the second-to-last bridge, when you see the empty shipyard, give me a call; I'll throw you a line.

Surprisingly, HHIR and the BWV standard view are about the same number of points for a Spring Break trip (not counting Easter). I still think late Sept/first October is my favorite time, but I still must visit WDW in each month before making that conclusion.

Every once and a while contracts that are loaded with points (Ie they have this years points and last years banked points.) Contracts like that can pay for themselves pretty quickly.

I'd like to try HHI. Sept is definitely our favorite time at WDW. Crowds are low and temps are great.
