Oh wow… i didn't realize you were that far north.

Yup. About 20 minutes from NH border and along the coast it is actually not further than that to actually hit the Maine border. We are considered just outside the "north shore" area of Massachusetts and right on Rt. 95. It takes me between 2 and 2.5 hours to get to CT.

Are you close to the Mohegan Sun/Foxwoods area? Next time I head down, maybe we could find a time to have lunch/dinner. I will be in New London, CT in June for a hoop tourney. Closer to there?

No we were in Bangor yesterday but no plans to go back until probably June. DS played in a soccer tournament around Portland/NH last year and I suspect that they will be going again.

Remind me as it gets closer. We have a couple more tourney's to the north. It may be worth trying to get a meet if we are close.

I like Portland. Great oyster bar right on the harbor.

Let me know if you go, we're up in Maine quite a bit in the summer.

We will have most of the day Saturday to do some dad/DD stuff. Games are early morning. Don't think DD will actually eat an oyster so that may be out.

Funny, it may be easier to meet you in Maine than for lunch.

Hah...good point. Need new smartphone. Mine is three years old, so she ain't so smart anymore....but I'm not sure I plan to cut down on the fishing anytime soon

My phone is not the only thing smarter than me. I wouldn't cut back on the fishing either.

Actually yes. We got a Pin while we were waiting on our DVC resale contract to thru ROFL. And, surprisingly, we haven't received a Pin since.

We can't wait - it's not our first time staying at BLT, but it is our first time as owners there.

It feels even better when you are DVC owners. It is terrible to leave, but to know you will be returning at least once a year for the next 30 years makes it a little easier.

Every once and a while contracts that are loaded with points (Ie they have this years points and last years banked points.) Contracts like that can pay for themselves pretty quickly.

I'd like to try HHI. Sept is definitely our favorite time at WDW. Crowds are low and temps are great.
