Morning gentlemen. We have a winner storm blowing through. I have no idea how the weather idiots will figure out how much snow we got.

Skip the RV.

It is difficult to beat a 12 man in the huddle offense. Given those terrible personal foul and inconsistent head butting calls, that may have been one of the worst officiated nfl playoff games I've seen.
I've got a 6 man tent we can use.

Apparently you didn't see the 09 NFC title game...

A WINNER storm? is that like a heavy tail wind that gets you across the finish line faster?:confused3

Driving my FIL back last April was my only time driving. I would like to do it again though and take some time to see the sites. Doing about 1900 miles in 3 days didn't leave a lot of time to check things out.

Speaking of New Brunswick, Canada, when we had dinner at Le Ceiler back in October we were seated in the NB section and the server was explaining, as they always do, about how the seating is arranged by Provinces and the servers in those sections are from that particular place and she was playing 20 questions with us to see if we could figure out what section we were in. (No, we didn't look up at the sign). She was kind of surprised that I was able to figure out it was NB. Guess she wasn't familiar with the mind power of a DisDad.

Back from DDC... Hard to keep up in all places, but I did go back and read through everything.

I would like to Echo Carl's sentiments, and Randall's DITTO!!!

If you can make it down try to, I have yet to meet a DISDad that I didn't like.

Congrats to all the DISDad runners and DISDad Dopey daughter runners.

Podcast night / Ohana was a blast as well, technical difficulties aside... I must say I was impressed at how calm both Adam and Aaron stayed while we were all hanging around the room taunting and drinking a few beverages.

Thanks again guys!
I liked following your guys adventures on Facebook. I'll be there next year. popcorn::

For the July/Aug trip I booked the AutoTrain since this is our trip we hit Busch Gardens,SeaWorld, LegoLand, Gatorland a car is a must for this trip plus we can bring and take home as much as we want:cool1:

For our April trip we are using Spirit Airlines out of AC

Now after booking both the train will actually be cheaper since the airline nickel and dimes you to death and then add on parking at the airport:scared1:
The way you have to look at it is if you have limited time a flight would be a lot quicker, but if you have a extra day or 2 there is nothing like the train:thumbsup2
Good luck with Spirit… they'll charge you $29 to fly but they don't tell you they charge you $5 to shut the door, $10 to add a pilot, $10 to put your luggage on the plane, $1.50 each time to press the call button

Holy Beverly, Batman! He!! just froze over!

Ron is Flying...
Next thing you know, he'll be on Facebook! :scared1::scared1: :scared1::scared1:

When does registration open up for the races? I think I recall that you could sign up for this year's races at the expo last year but I don't know when it opened up to the public.

Well done Sir!

What gave it away?

I hate my phone. That should be a winter storm. My driveway is mostly clear even though we supposedly got 3".

Oh dear God....

South of the Border and Kudzu in one thread....

How is that place still open?

Good morn... um, good afternoon. Been a couple of crazy days here at work. Feels like I'm constantly playing catch up. Just wanted to pop in and say hi.

Also thought I'd say that I went with a group of guys from church last night to see Lone Survivor. If you haven't seen it, go. It is a great movie. Gives you a lot of appreciation for what our men and women in uniform go through to get the job done. To those of you who serve our country, THANK YOU!!!

Not because I’m in favor of it that’s for sure.
You and I know all too well that as fine a place to live as SC can be (and it is, really)…

We also have entirely too many instances where it’s best to just awkwardly look away and try to change the subject.

Doesn't the title give away the ending? ;) :lmao: Should have Spoiler Alert as the sub-title.

Driving back last spring I think we must have seen about 100 or more of those signs leading up to the actual place.

They’re a lot like Kudzu…
a pervasive nuisance with no known cure.
:lmao:

Man, passing those signs was one of the only fun things on the drive back from WDW, Amelia thought they were hilarious, especially when we finally came upon it lights blazing in the darkness like a mis-placed Vegas. :rotfl2:

That's true but we didn't know that Jack would get lucky in the back of a car and later become a popsicle.

Good afternoon guys! A bit late today between a hectic morning at the office and before heading into the office having to deal with making our FP+ selections for March. I do not want to rant but do need to throw out there that I am not impressed with the system nor process. Still trying to get our selections cleaned up since the system pre-assigns time slots, when I changed times we now have multiple listings for same attractions and I do not want this to mess up the good times. A couple of head scratchers from my perspective:
Only 3 FP per day? If park hoping does ya no good for one of the parks
Grouping attractions which results in not being able to select Soarin and TT on the same day and not being able to select RRC and TSM on the same day?

For those that were there this past weekend am I missing something? :confused3
I am sure we will get used to it and hopefully Dis will continue to adjust but after being able to use it today, I am thinking that the old system and how we used that was better as we had more than 3 per day and could do Soarin & TT both with FP.

When we were there in Oct they were not grouping attractions. I found it worked well when you got used to the system, I enjoyed not having to run around collecting FP's first thing. I do agree that the limitation on park hopping is crazy but I can't see Disney keeping it like that, they make way too much on the park hop option on tickets.

:coffee: Just finished another large coffee. Going to be a late night. I know better than that. I've put off the inevitable and need to get back to making Powerpoints even though it is a nice sunny day in the holler. Another 25 degrees and I could even get to like KY....or not. :lmao:

I had the chance to review some journals I started for the kids when they were born. Just a few random thoughts and it is interesting to see where the the time has gone. It had been over seven years since I had written anything and I was complaining about gas being $2.25 then. I'm going to try to get back into it again this year and see if I can keep it up on the off chance they are interetested later in life.
