Had a few minutes so I figured I would check in and see if the thread was still open. Must have been slow over the holiday weekend. I hope everyone had a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving! Put up most of the lights on Friday. Will try to get a pic up this week. Happy football Sunday.

Yet another phone case was destroyed today. DW found a bunch of plastic cases for the Samsung Focus a year ago cheap online. Problem is that once you snap it on, it won't unsnap. But, after you drop the phone a few times, it not only pops off each time, but finally won't re-attach. I used to be against phone cases, but my phone would be pieces without it. Now, we are down to one last case. After this one goes, maybe it is time for a new phone.

I'm with you! We're behind on our Christmas shopping this year and still need to get started. But, most years, if we buy anything on Black Friday, I do it Thanksgiving night after we eat. It gets shipped to house for free, I don't have to fight the crowds, and is usually the same price in the store. We aren't ever after those crazy deals people camp out for. Besides, they usually really aren't that great anyway, IMHO.

I agree. Sure, it's great to get an iPad for $50, but they usually only have a few of those. Once they are all gone, the rest of the prices are about the same as you could get online.

We try to avoid this weekend like the plague but our schedule was not on our side. Saturday seemed like just an ordinary day to us so we lucked out. Hell retailers up here are catching on to the concept to keep Canadian dollars up here but there was nothing we were after that was going on sale. We did get a couple of movies that were on our get list that were dirt cheap, and we scored a Monster High guy doll for Amelia for like five bucks. I like the more varied variety of things available in the States then we can get here, some times it's just simple things like Cherry Coke. Also got a lot of cool little stocking stuffers etc. yes there are things that are cheaper too and we will grab things we need but don't buy for the sake of saving money.

Good get on the doll. Our dds have made a list and we haven't started shopping yet. Youngest still wants some a few toys, but older one is asking for clothes and other stuff like that.

Maybe we will let it die a natural death this time?

Doubtful. The 250 mad dash just hasn't started.

Hey guys, still in Sarnia when we should have been home soon. Would appreciate some prayers for my FIL , went to the hospital this morning with difficulties breathing. DW has been with him for around 7 hours now while they conduct tests, pretty sure he's in Emerg. still. They found a mass on his lung thinking either pneumonia or a blood clot there. Only issue is we both need to be at our respective jobs tomorrow morning so it's either a very late return or very early tomorrow morning. Should know something by 8:30-9 tonight.

Evening Guys,

Declan's team won their tournament today. Blew away the cross-town rivals in the semis and had a tougher time in the final but still managed a 16 point win. Declan got himself into some foul trouble to he had to sit most of the 3rd quarter but had a good weekend overall.

I had a niece and nephew playing in other tournaments and they won as well. An all-around great weekend.

Pin collector here, but not a trader. Chris had a great idea with putting pins into the bulletin board. So, I try to get a few pins each trip that include the resort, maybe something new we did, a dated pin, DVC pin, etc. It is a fun but expensive hobby.

Yeah it is... I had a case of buyers remorse right after I got the special Thor pin. I like to get the mystery pin packs and use then to trade a little but I also like to buy pins that I like. I have about 30 pins or so. One day down and coral reef tomorrow should be good. I got the hulk vinyl just wish I could get Iron man or Thor vinyl.

No freezing rain although we had some pretty strong rain early on, then smooth sailing. Halfway there we got some pretty thick fog but roads were pretty much empty. Home to get a bit of sleep.

Morning Men,
15 Days of work left for the year for me.

Question for you dads that have the monorail sets. I am looking on ebay and want to make sure i am looking at the correct ones.
The monorails that run on the track are they diecast? Or are there plastic ones that run on the rail that i should be looking at?

Don't know if the wife will let me do it but i am coming up with different ideas as to how to tell our boys on Christmas.
So far i have come up with the following ideas

A- finding a little people plane with something inside saying your going to WDW when they open the door,

B- Finding a little people bus and painting it to look either like ME or disney transportation with a note

C- Getting the monorail with a note attached to the back that will say you will ride me in 35 days.

A and B would be in a box with lots of packaging or multiple boxes.
