Geting up bright and early? the BOG ressies are brutal...:sad2:

Cool...She just missed out on a lot last time, so plans to make up for it....keeps talking about Tower of Terror, should be interesting, she'll be 5 by the time we get there.

Impressive. But, never underestimate the power of the force.

If anyone can pull off carrying a sword around, I think it's you. Kinda thinking the Blade look would work. Does one have to have a carry conceal permit for a sword, or is that just in some states?

Just now finalizing a plan. I have the next two years of ADRs planned.

It will be worth it. Good luck.

I hope so, got mine...had to juggle the itinerary a bit, but worth it

Any tips for getting BOG? Besides calling/going on line first thing?

I was on the phone right at 6am, and missed out each time. I went online eaxh day checking to see if anything opened up and after a week, snagged one.

Look at the park hours. I'm not sure if Touring Plans is that far out or not. Pick the night you think MK will be the least crowded that you plan to be there. Weekends are busier than weekdays. If it is a special event like MNSSHP, the discount dates mean they expect a lower crowd/party level and that may be the better chance. EMH are fun, but it usually brings more people, so pick MK on a non EMH day.

Then, take whatever time you can get. Make it the first ADR. After that, then it is all smooth sailing.

I know its a bit late, but in honor of Star Wars day this past Saturday thought I'd share some pics of DS Star Wars collectio - 4" figure line. OK, we'll call it DS and Dad's collection as we have 2,018 open figures and another 32 unopened. We took over the entire guest bedroom. Wasn't sure if I should start a separate thread so posting here and if you veterans think a separate thread is better let me know and I will start one.

Note to TwinDad - DS was reading your posts on the SW rumor thread and thought you might like to see some this.

The storage drawers are how the figures and weapons are stored. Heres what a couple of them look like.

Now THAT is a collection. Most of my Original Trilogy stuff looks like it was in the Battle of Endor. I don't have much from the prequels. I have a Mara Jade and Admiral Thrawn in the box.

The Heat just lost game 1 to the Bulls. Absolutely pathetic. The Bulls just have now become a bunch of floppers - sad to watch. But, James should be good enough to beat them. .

Got to tip the hat to my hometown Bulls. First winning game 7 on the road agains the Nets and now stealing one from the Heat with half their roster on the bench. Still don't think they have a chance against the Heat but gotta love the heart they are playing with.

So what are you Mother's Day plans:confused3

I get to go to work till 1, Then we are going to Sesame Place to see to see the Imagination Movers:cool1:

Sat night we are baking my wife Pillsbury Hooray For Mom Mickey Cookies:thumbsup2

Will be making dinner with the girls..church will have a rare double preformance with both Amelia and Jo playing....other then that, not much planned yet.

I just figured that was the wagon from the last time they won the cup. :rotfl2:

At least he didn't go post crazy when they won Sat....

Again wishing they played the whole game like the third period :sad2:

Hello Dads. Popped by to say hello. Spent some time with Iron Man 3. Hope y'all are well.

Maybe I'll see it Memorial Day Weekend. Tough to get to the movies, especially if the movie is not something the wife and kids wants to see.

Morning Guys!! Woke up to a brand new thread, at least I have something to look forward to today. Not enjoying this whole go to work on Monday thing I have going on.

Matt

It was Monday???

Cool, Rainy, and Monday.

It's going to be in the mid 80's and mostly sunny at Castaway Cay today. :beach:

Disney Daydreamin...

:thumbsup2

If we're storming the castle, should I grab my gear??

I mean, I know it's magical and all that, but Prince Charming carries a firearm (albeit poorly) in Storybrooke...love that show:goodvibes

I think we could take the Castle, it's very lightly defensed. Fantasmic! on the other hand...

Good Morning Guys. Made it on page 4.

DS lost 3 more baseball games this weekend. We are now 0-17.:headache: The coaches keep favoring the same players. I think it's time to try something new. A lot of parents angry.:furious: I just go with the flow. DS has a .08 ERA in 23 innings:thumbsup2, but doesn't get to be a starting pitcher:confused:. He's the best 1B we have, but he plays 3B part time and he has a .667 batting average and .800 on base percentage:thumbsup2, but sits every other game. The politics and favoritism is really ticking some parents off. I just keep thinking that at 0-17, why not try something different? Can't hurt? Oh, and a good thing we cancelled practice today. With our success they certainly don't need to push them.:lmao:

DD lost soccer game, but was 3-1 this weekend in hoops.

We had a first communion and a funeral mass as well so this weekend was absolutely crazy.

Hope everyone is well. Now I have to keep up on two threads.

sorry to hear about that Beverly! At the time I played, I was ignorant of the politics, even though looking back I can see it clear as day.

Supposed to be 70 degrees and mostly sunny up here today. So far it is cloudy, foggy and about 43. Why didn't I choose weather as a major in school. Don't they look out the window prior to the forecast?:headache:

I'm thinking the wave pool at TL would look pretty nice about now.

Very few "meteorologists" actually do forecasting. Most of them will just tell you what the computer says, and they are all getting their data from a handful of weather services.

Happy Birthday BASEBALLMICKEY!!!

Thanks!! That cake even has my name on it!! Thanks, Brian!

Good morning!

Had a busy Saturday working on the farm. DW had to go somewhere, so she left DS with me. She dropped him off at the field a little before noon and we were in the tractor until 10:45 pm. He did awesome for riding in a tractor that long. He got bored once in a while and started climbing around and apparently monitoring the gauges, but I think he enjoyed it. He has ridden with me several times before, but usually no more than 3 or 4 hours.

When we parked it for the night, he was asleep on the floor. I picked him up and when he woke up, I don't think he wanted to go home.

We got a lot done Friday and Saturday. I worked up about 250 acres on Saturday, and Dad got 150 planted before he had to quit a little early. We're about half done with corn. My uncle handles the soybean planting and he apparently has been having some problems. I think we've only got about 100 acres or so in the ground, but Dad and I are a little over half done with corn already. We got some rain yesterday and this morning, but once it dries up, I'm planning to take 2 or 3 days off of work to get it done.

Very cool! :thumbsup2 I'm still trying to get around to cutting, raking, and seeding my 3000 sq. ft. :worship: :worship:

I don't really get caught up in it. DS is confident and performs at every opportunity. He has already been seen by the varsity coaches at our high school and will make that team. I do wish he was pitching more, just for the experience. We'll get him pitching somewhere. I coach both my kids in other sports and feel that if a player is good enough to make the team, then they should play equally. A good coach will find a way to win games and play everyone. Anyone can take good players and go win. I'd rather teach and lose with a good group of kids without all of the favoritism crap.

Oh, I vote for Aloha Isle!

Amen! :thumbsup2

party::bday:party: May your day be filled with Disney magic!

Thank you!

Happy Birthday James!

Thanks!

And a happy birthday to a fellow member of the supremely stubborn.

stubborn? who, me? I'm not "stubborn". I'm just a believer in doing things a certain way... that's all.

Good morning Dads. After a lot of hemming and hawing we've decided to change our summer trip plans. It seems that DW and both DD's were not liking the idea of missing out on Disney for what would have amounted to nearly 2 years. Instead of Hilton Head (which I was a little excited to play some golf but that's ok) we are going to do a split week trip. 3 nights at a WDW resort (not sure yet but leaning towards AKL or WL) and then 3 nights at Tradewinds Island Grand resort in St Pete. So we will get our fix of WDW and still get a few days of beach relaxation. I think this will be good. Nothing like planning last minute though. We'll be in WDW 6/16-6/19 so I think I will get to spend Father's Day at the Magic Kingdom!!

Nice! Enjoy your trip!

Happy Birthday James!

Thanks!

Morning all,
Like the new thread, only been part of the group for a bit and already on two threads.

Weather Today:
Orlando 78 & Sunny
Castaway Cay already spoken for
Grand Cayman 84 & Sunny
Cozumel 82 & Sunny

Sorry, with all the rain the past couple of weekends I am getting ahead with the destinations for our upcoming trip in June :hourglass

Welcome, New Guy! Sorry, I missed your intro... not going back to look for it. :lmao:

Happy Birthday James. Make it a good one.

Thanks!

The Pirate Princess has your six.

SH had a Spring Carnival on the green yesterday. One of the vendors was a paint ball range. She enjoyed working out her recent frustrations with some of her classmates.

Ah... now I get Fed's paintball comment from FB! Now to figure out the "shiv". :scratchin

Good morning gents!

So glad I found the DIS Boards, and last night, this forum. Just made our first trip as immediate family: DW, DD9 & DS7. Previous trips were with other family. It was within a few hours that I realized we were "one of those families". Had a blast & can't wait for our next trip!

I was very glad to see that I'm not the only Disney obsessed dad out there. I just won a Disney polo on an eBay auction that I will wear with pride on a golf trip in a couple of weeks. It just sucks it's not going to be at Disney! Need to plan to do that sometime.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys a bit more, this forum is great!

Welcome to the Nut House!

Happy birthday James!

Thank you!

Happy B-Day James!

Thanks!

Afternoon guys.

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Happy birthday James and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.!

Thanks!

Happy Birthday.

Thank you very much!

I had to stop in here tonight to say GO BULLS! Might not be able to brag on them much the rest of the way but it was an impressive win. Tom Thibadeau has to be the coach of the year.

I'm not buying that too much. The big 3 do their share of flopping and they whine a LOT. Bulls just won on their court with the third string guards and no Luol Deng. I'm sure it was just that the Heat were rusty but still that shouldn't happen. I sure wish Rose would come back.

Speaking of Team Sparrow, what is our shirt color?

:scratchin

Yeah, we probably need to decide on that.

:scratchin

I ordered both until our fearless leader decides which color to pilfer.:lmao::lmao: Yellow was introduced since it is the color of gold, but black is for our Jolly Roger when we "Raise the Colors!".

:confused3

It is James' birthday. That can be his gift - choosing the colors.

pirate:

Really?!?

Happy Birthday James!

Thanks!

Someone is very excited...came across my tape measure so I had Audrey stand up straight and took a measure. 45" ! Officially she hit the magic 44" marker meaning she'll be good to go on a lot of rides she missed out on. She was jumping for joy!:thumbsup2

Awesome!!! :thumbsup2
