Happy Monday gents. Last weekend's garage sale went really well. We'll get to pay off a nice hunk of our portion of the Disney trip. DD was under the weather all last night. She spent about 5 minutes standing over the porcelean god and felt a lot better. Today she already rolled her brother out like cheap carpet so she's fine.

It seems like he is hanging around a lot. What other reason could there be?

And, as if it couldn't get weirder, BIL and SIL will be having their 4th child. Let's see - still renting, momma pays $20K to get their cars un- repossessed, FIL pays for their Disney vacation and gives them is truck to drive down there along with his credit card for gas, and they are having yet another child they cannot afford. And, we get to go on vacation with them. I have mixed feelings. I don't have to pay for it, so that is good. But, I really don't want to be around them. DW wants to go, so I guess I have to be there. Maybe I'll recommend Miami and I can go over and hide and your house.



That sounds like my usual day. Smartphone time.

Sounds like your working too hard. JK. We all have them somewhere in the family. The low lying fruit that no one picks. Good luck with the vacation. As you said.....At least you don't need to pay for it.

Back home from tournament soccer weekend. Team won both games today, and has two games tomorrow in order to win championship. DD didn't score a goal, but she played well in both games.

Congrats. DD lost her soccer game this weekend. Outplayed the other team the whole game and lost 4-1 because no one could put a shot on net. The other team only got 8 shots and scored on half of them. It may be time for a new goalie. On the positive side, DD hoop team went 4-0 this weekend to win the tournament.

DS didn't get to pitch this weekend. Another 2 losses by the wonder kids that keep getting the shot. He was 4-5 with 2 RBI and was the tying run left on 3rd at the end of the second game. Good day for him, he just wishes he could pitch so we can win.

Good morning gents, trust all are doing well and are looking forward to a 3 day weekend coming up. Back in town from business travels and getting ready for graduation week for DD (high school). Our home will be the celebration location Saturday for DD and her BF so should be an enjoyable weekend to clebrate the kidos.

You get to kick one out of the house soon too. Actually, congrats to dd and best wishes un the future.

She will be working on a cart (I e cream, pop corn nut in the mk. The do cross train so maybe have a chance at aloha island!!!!

Sounds fun. Now, we have Stewart photos in Epcot and Brianna photos in MK.

It occurs to me that today is Monday.
Once that actually occurred to me it then immediately occurred to me
that I wish it hadn’t occurred to me….

Terrible start to the week. Network & phones down first hour if the day and fielding calls on cell phone. Then, when network is back online, i find out my office is being moved in the next two weeks. Where is my red stapler?

I look forward to meeting her down there one day. I am jealous she gets to be in MK everyday!!

Me too. I wish i had been smart enough to go work there.

A Disney Morning to you all. It was Dance Recital weekend here which meant lots of running around Friday evening and Saturday. All three of my girls were in the recital on both days. I attended the Friday showing with the rest of our family. DW went to both Friday night and Saturday's showings.:

We have dance recital in two weeks. Can't wait for it to be over.

Morning everyone...taking it easy again today after the week that was last week. Girls actually slept in a little this morning, were pretty tired after staying up to watch the fireworks. If weather stays fair, they can see some more tonight.

Thursday we are running the food table/bake sale at our local home school curriculum & used book sale. Prayers for it to be a success would be appreciated. Also, pray I don't eat all the cookies before Thursday

As for us, we've had a great first day yesterday. Got to meet Zerf and his daughter. Everyone did space mountain and splash mountain for the first time. Our oldest has some sensory issues so the fact she tried space was huge. She was having a hard time in line (fortunately we got on this first thing so the line was short so she didn't have too much time to get worked up. Afterwards she got off and said that wasn't too bad but said I won't do that again. I was so proud of her willing to try.

Today we are off to DHS. Looking forward to riding Star Tours. (Haven't been here since the refurb).

Sounds like a blast....wish 3 months would hurry up and get here! Glad DD at least tried. My oldest came off a lot of her first rides crying...swearing never to do it again...but by next trip, she was back in line.

Saturday night ownage.

We went to Logan's Roadhouse for dinner tonight. I got their original roadies - mini burgers served on those great yeast roles. Neither dd wants to eat off the kids menu anymore. So, we got steak & ribs with two sides, and one ate a steak and fries and the other ribs and fries. When did your kids stop eating of the kid menu? Mine are 11 & 8.

DS stopped about age 11. Still will eat a child's meal occasionally depending on where we go. DD just started eating regular meals at 10, but also depends on where we go. Mine won't share a meal and usually eat bread, salad, entree and then try for dessert (which is usually a no).

Just heard the one winning powerball ticket was sold in Florida. Which one of you Floridians won?

CJ must be holding out on us.

Morning fellas!

Had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday DW was busy with ticket day for the upcoming recital at her studio so I took both DD's to my parents house. I ending up digging 9 holes for the footers of the deck my dad is building. We rented a power post hole digger but with all the clay he has in his yard it ended up being pretty brutal work. Left the girls there for an overnite and had a dinner date with DW. Then on Sunday I mowed the lawn, trimmed some shrubbery, went for a run in the mid-day 90 degree (bad idea) and then went out golfing for the first time this year. Good to be back at work to rest up a bit.

Would have been better if DW hadn't admitted that when it was time to go pick me up from work, they both got excited "Yay! We can get ice cream now!"

Just remember who is buying the ice cream! And it's not that the ice cream is more important, it's that it only last a few minutes and you last a lot longer.

Ahh..this is what a long weekend is all about. Chili in the crockpot, an ice cold Strongbow before me....kids getting along.

Two updates.

Home from soccer. Lost 0-2. Team did not play well. It was 91 degrees at game time, first time that hot this year. Still a good season.

On the vacation front, WDW is definitely out, I think this one is SIL more than BIL. SIL knows we vacation there and like it, so she won't agree to go there. They are going to see if FIL we choose to go on a cruise, but I think that is doubtful. If that falls thru, I'm at least hoping we can get Universal/Sea World out of it. I can't stand them.

Rental picked up, electronics charging and to be packed and laundry done. The kid is cleaning up the house a bit. Need to buy snacks and assorted refreshments then pack clothes. Hopefully leaving early am tomorrow. Looking forward to Storming the Castle.

I'll call and let them know your coming. If security pulls you aside it has nothing to do with me.

My plan is to load up the camper, leave tonight, and arrive in Miami around noon tomorrow. CJ will be gone by then.

Just think. If you head out to CJ's, establish a new town called Normville in his yard and be elected mayor. Then your DW would have to follow and you would miss vacation with the in laws. I say go for it!

Evening Dads..


The chili was great, and as usual, I are way too much. Laying here on the bed while the girls watch for fireworks from the window. It's one of the benefits we get from the apartment. We face out towards a few kilometres of housing etc, so we get a free show of all the firework displays people set off. Tomorrow is the traditional day, but lots happen on Sundays, and its supposed to rain tomorrow night, so we'll take what we can get.

A Disney Morning to you all. It was Dance Recital weekend here which meant lots of running around Friday evening and Saturday. All three of my girls were in the recital on both days. I attended the Friday showing with the rest of our family. DW went to both Friday night and Saturday's showings.

Even though they were in a total of eight of the dances, it seems that the other songs in between theirs tend to last just a bit longer. Of course, three hours of watching twirling and tapping will make you start pondering the meaning of life...

I also tried to put in my time to get the neighborhood pool cleaned up and ready for opening next weekend. The official cleanup day is next Saturday but I'll be at graduation parties for nieces and nephews.

I hope everyone else had a good weekend too. Now, if you're not Canadian, get back to work!

Tonight begins dance recital week for DD. Then a long weekend in Uncasville for baseball with DS. Dance practice tonight and tomorrow. Dress rehearsal on Wednesday and then two productions - one on Thursday and one on Friday. Agree that the rest of the show seems to drag, while our children's time goes way to fast.

This is work. Oh, you meant what they pay me to do.
