Steaks just went on the grill, fiddleheads on the steamer, salad about to be made up (it has bacon)....time to pour a nice cold beer.

Life is good!

Never tried fiddleheads but the rest sounds good.

Yes it is! :thumbsup2

Looks like things getting back to normal here in the clubhouse...

...

Normal and this bunch are not two words I would associate. :lmao:

Rental picked up, electronics charging and to be packed and laundry done. The kid is cleaning up the house a bit. Need to buy snacks and assorted refreshments then pack clothes. Hopefully leaving early am tomorrow. Looking forward to Storming the Castle.

Good plan. Wish I could get my DD to clean up the house a bit. I would be happy if she just didn't make MORE work. :sad2:

My plan is to load up the camper, leave tonight, and arrive in Miami around noon tomorrow. CJ will be gone by then.

That's my plan. DW said no.

...

SWMBO .She Who Must Be Obeyed

Thanks and its a local beer to boot, Picaroons Dooryard. It is a nice wheat ale.

Ahhh...it's wheat beer season, and you can't beat local brews. Been into the ciders lately myself. Once my stomach settles down (way too much chili tonight), Im trying a pear cider...:drinking1

:lmao: Yeah, mid David says he's going off the grid, then we know the plan. I shouldn't complain. I am blessed.

You are...just remember that they are jealous of you and everything you have accomplished.

Rough weather in the midwest. Stay safe Dads.

I will echo that sentiment. Stay safe.

Evening Dads..

The chili was great, and as usual, I are way too much. Laying here on the bed while the girls watch for fireworks from the window. It's one of the benefits we get from the apartment. We face out towards a few kilometres of housing etc, so we get a free show of all the firework displays people set off. Tomorrow is the traditional day, but lots happen on Sundays, and its supposed to rain tomorrow night, so we'll take what we can get.

WIth the much chili, you may be setting off some of your own fireworks. :lmao:
Fire in the Hole. Who stepped on the duck?

Happy Monday fellas. It's short work week for me. After Wednesday it's a five day weekend :cool1:

Thursday we are running the food table/bake sale at our local home school curriculum & used book sale. Prayers for it to be a success would be appreciated. Also, pray I don't eat all the cookies before Thursday :lmao:

Looking forward to seeing you guys.

Have a safe ride north.

Norm: sorry about all of the family drama. Use dory's advice and just keep swimming.

As for us, we've had a great first day yesterday. Got to meet Zerf and his daughter. Everyone did space mountain and splash mountain for the first time. Our oldest has some sensory issues so the fact she tried space was huge. She was having a hard time in line (fortunately we got on this first thing so the line was short so she didn't have too much time to get worked up. Afterwards she got off and said that wasn't too bad but said I won't do that again. I was so proud of her willing to try.

Today we are off to DHS. Looking forward to riding Star Tours. (Haven't been here since the refurb).

Prayers for those in need, praise for those deserving, bacon for all.

Best wishes on the sale. We still have 3 days before we wrap it up but started buying next years. We do a little of each but are going to try Saxon Math next year. Heard good things about it.
