Can I come visit? Just spent the last 3 hours cutting down a tree and getting it cleaned up. Had to leave the last little bit for tomorrow, I hope it rains.

Would have been better if DW hadn't admitted that when it was time to go pick me up from work, they both got excited "Yay! We can get ice cream now!"

True. But, we gotta take what we can get.

Hey guys. Spent the weekend up at a country club in NH, golfing and enjoying a few beverages. Had a blast, but it's nice to be home. Now for a BBQ with some friends. Not a bad weekend.

Two updates.

Home from soccer. Lost 0-2. Team did not play well. It was 91 degrees at game time, first time that hot this year. Still a good season.

On the vacation front, WDW is definitely out, I think this one is SIL more than BIL. SIL knows we vacation there and like it, so she won't agree to go there. They are going to see if FIL we choose to go on a cruise, but I think that is doubtful. If that falls thru, I'm at least hoping we can get Universal/Sea World out of it. I can't stand them.

Sorry about the loss, more sorry about the family BS. Can't fathom the spite involved. As much as my sister and I don't get along...it never gets to that level. I imagine it is pure jealousy, (which I strangely think is a badge of honour to have others jealous of me) and don't take it the wrong way or anything, but a time will come when there will be no more bailouts for them, then what will happen? You will be riding high, and their world will crumble apart.

Nope. They are the type that walk thru crap and appear on the other side with roses. Just babies - momma and dada will always bail both of them out. I guess they are examples of why I don't consider family to be of any consequence. I guess my only hope is too win the lottery and just move really far away from them. I would rather just stay home and skip a free vacation as opposed to having to spend time with them. I do the holidays with them and will go on this trip because DW want me to.

Rental picked up, electronics charging and to be packed and laundry done. The kid is cleaning up the house a bit. Need to buy snacks and assorted refreshments then pack clothes. Hopefully leaving early am tomorrow. Looking forward to Storming the Castle.

My plan is to load up the camper, leave tonight, and arrive in Miami around noon tomorrow. CJ will be gone by then.
