Afternoon guys... Crashed early last night to sleep things off a bit. Union rep called me to get some picket info from me, otherwise no news on the strike front. It'll pretty much go to the wire tomorrow night I think. Sales are fairly heavy as a result, and we are getting the vibes that is exactly what they want

The Pirate Princess made it down here safely. Took her and the kid who dared asked her to the prom out to dinner last night. Getting a rental for the drive to Orlando and I pick that up in 4 days. Five days and we are out of here.

Won't tell you what it is like down here. That would be too cruel, even to a nemesis. Needless to say it is a good day to be outside.

Glad she made it OK. How many time did he say "yes sir" at dinner. I hope that you were cleaning your guns when he got there.

Ya.....I'll pass on the weather report. It is actually decent when the 30 mile an hour winds stop for a few minutes. I just keep thinking positive thoughts. Have a great trip, send pictures. I need something to throw darts at.

OK. For those that have not heard.........Oscar Mayer is beginning shipments for it's new BACON hot dog! Looks like it's off to the store to get some for this weekend!

Morning guys. Been on the road again for business and on Friday we start the pilgrimage to the promised land. Looking forward to seeing the faces on the girls when they figure out where we are going.

Busy couple of days ahead so I may not be around much until we get back.

Morning gentlemen. Hope your hump day is happy! 5 hours on the road for a 15 minute meeting today. At least it is a nice day for a drive.

I'll have to look that one up. My great uncle has a cabin up on Leech Lake. There is a eagle breeding area just 5 minutes away by boat. It was always fun to watch them fly back to their nests at dusk. I also got buzzed by an osprey going after the fishing lure I was casting. I just about fell out of the boat I was so startled.

Are you kidding! I was surprised the Celtics made the playoffs. If I were in charge, we would have pulled a collapse on par with the Colts a couple years ago to get to the worst record and a shot at #1. Ainge promised not to do what happened when the first big 3 got old and needed hospice to be ready on the bench.

Will they build with Rondo or use him as trade bait? Gotta follow those former UK players, even when they are stuck on Boston teams.

I see Scotland is going to be at this year's Epcot International Food and Wine festival. If they put haggis on the menu, I might have to make an impromptu trip.

Barnes is having a great series so far. They needed it tonight. I'm not sure what he did during the season for GS but he's coming on strong.

Agree. Golden State has been really fun to watch. I don't think they can beat the Spurs in Game 6 and Game 7 to get this series, but they'll be around for years. It will be fun to watch them along with OKC.

It was great being out in the 80+ degree weather yesterday. DD had a dentist appt for a small surgical procedure so they gave her laughing gas to calm her down. That was pretty entertaining

I get the distinct impression that it depends on Doc Rivers. I think if Doc stays you are looking at a trade to get some decent young pieces in place and then maybe look for a big free agent in the next year or two.

If Doc goes, I think they build around Rondo. I'm not sure that is the better choice. Rondo doesn't seem to be the type of player that will just sit there quietly while they lose day in and day out during a rebuild. It may be best to start from scratch with the few decent players they'll have after trading Pierce and either trading Garnett or his retirement.

Rondo certainly seems to carry a chip. It can make him a good player, but not a good teammate. It's too bad as he became a good point guard.

Interviewed two good candidates for a temporary job. Now to decide which one by Friday AM. Prayers appreciated. Sad thing is they both asked about the possibility of it becoming permanent and had illusions about the ivory tower that I had to crush. I'm a heretic but I tell them the way academia really is.

Think I may spoil myself and pull out the . Using that helps me focus and settles my thoughts.
