I thought that was Team Sparrow... pirate:
I believe you are correct.

I've just been holding out on my support for any of the 3 named teams. Since Tim has been MIA quite a bit lately and likely won't be running, I guess I might as well declare my "official" loyalty for the upcoming race.

And it seems the decision on what color Team Sparrow will wear has been given to me. While it appears the choice has been made for me, with DoleWhip grabbing the gold, and Beverly claiming black... I think you all forget that team Sparrow is Pirates... we have no uniform. We "Take what we can, and give nothing back!" We'll wear whatever color we want!

Team Sparrow won't be known by the color of their shirts, but by the quantity of their rum! (and by how many wenches they get slapped by)

pirate:

And I go back to this. He said rum. I'm in. :thumbsup2

How is it that I always support the guy running with a screwed up leg?

You can support me, I have two screw up legs!

Well, I would say that I can't support one of Team Barry's key components, but then I just saw on the other thread that he's leaning towards Team Sparrow.

So I might just have to take the rum and go off on my own somewhere.

Mornin Gents - hectic start to the morning so a little late checking in. Blackhawks took control of their series with Minnesota last night so that helps get hump day off to a decent start.

Morning guys!!

Ahem*

29 Days until Departure to Port Orleans!

That is all.

matt

Same here, 29 days until we head to BLT for a couple of days and then 7 night Fantasy Western Carribean.

If Team Sparrow is staying home and doing nothing, sign me up.pirate:

Drama time at work is back :headache: and the odd thing is I received a recruitment email about a position working with Clemson just this AM. :scratchin

I think Fed might be supportive of that move. :lmao:

How did I miss that? Let's go Team Sparrow!!

WOW. I blink, the old thread is closed and I didn't even make it into this one in the first 10 pages!

Oh wait...26 hours straight on a work call was why. Duh!

Looks like quite a few of us are going to be there next month! Our first day on property will be June 7th.

Will

We almost ended up going that week.

My nephew will be there that week (with his mom and dad) for his first visit.

I'd say to look for a 2 year old with a slight obsession with Lighning McQueen and Mater, but that doesn't really narrow it down too much, does it? :rotfl::lmao:

So, what'd I miss?:confused3

Busy day today. Had to pick up my FIL from the hospital. They found an artery in his heart that had a 99% blockage and put in a stent yesterday. He's already complaining about the hospital and saying he doesn't think the procedure will help his health any, so I'd say he's well on the road to recovery.

Glad FIL is on the way to recovery. Prayers.

I chatted about this on the other boards but they've changed the way the queue works for test track. About a month ago they switched from having the fastpass riders on TestTrack just access an abridged design session to having them go through the full design session. The end result seems to be:

1. The fastpass line can stretch out the door.
2. The line before the design studio moves much slower. We stood at the front of the standby line watching them pull one or 2 families from the standby line to go into a design studio, and filling the rest of the studio with people from the fastpass line.

From talking with CM's the change is a result of a mandate from senior leadership at Chevy. The cast members seem frustrated. When I talked with those that had been working the ride for a while. There were others that had only been working on it for a month or less so they were unaware of the change. As a result of the change the CM said they are planning on redesigning the fastpass queue area. He said he was also hoping that they would reduce the number of fastpass riders.

The short of this is, if your touring plan had you grabbing fastpasses for soarin then running over to ride testtrack because you wanted to do the design station, you might want to swap that. Get FP's for TestTrack and ride Soarin.

It seems TT is busier than before the redesign. There are so many negative threads about the change. I guess the silent majority likes it.

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2: This one goes up on the wall!

I'm officially registered for the Half Marathon in January!

:thumbsup2 I'm officially still waiting to see if the knee will allow it. Up to a slow jog. The kids say I run funny now (at least funnier than before). I plan to attend regardless and cheer everyone on, but it would be nice to get back to full strength.

Top of the morning guys :coffee:

I heard that with all of the rain we have received that it has brought our water table back to its normal level after the drought last year. I think Andy could verify this, but I'm pretty sure we started last year with A LOT of rain :confused3

Glad to hear it. Should let everyone get off to a good start to the growing season.

:thumbsup2+1

Good morning gentlemen

Just thought I'd pop in quick. I'm starting to pick up more shifts at work. I'll be going from 16 to 32 hours a week. So, I'll be on very sporadically. But it'll help pay for Disney among other stuff.

More money for Disney is always a good thing. Good luck!

Well it looks like I will not be doing any yard work today since it rained, so it looks like I will be painting today::yes::, I get one day a week off from work, only to do work, go figure:confused3:lmao:

That's why I go to work. It's easier than staying home and working 14 hours instead of 10.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey! Me too!!!

Do you want to be on my Un-Marathon team??? :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I thought that was Team Sparrow... pirate:

Yes, the un-marathon team would be Team Sparrow. Welcome about and don't forget the rum! Norm is bringing the couch.

The Nemesis Post on page one has the Running Teams rosters. If you wish to be added to a Team, please PM me to add you. Thank you!
