On another, happier note DS made his premiership U12 soccer team today. That is the top level of travel soccer in the province. Pretty proud of my boy!

OK… at first I looked at this stuff and said to my self:
“Self, this right here is some serious crap.”
But then I got to the Flying Radio Control Shark and had to rethink my position


When I encountered the Han Solo Frozen iPhone Case, I said:
“Ya’ know… I got friends that would really like one of those.”


When I encountered the set of Upside Down Beer Bottle Glasses it was more like:
“Holy inverted containment vessels Batman… I actually already own a set of those puppys”


And they even went as far as to SC’s own Blenheim ginger ail to demonstrate the device
rather then a beer (which is something I regularly use said pointless devise for)


The Mini Ballista Launcher may just be a must have for work as well

But… the pièce de résistance was the Toilet Bowl Coffee Mug…
Someone has got to get one of those for Zerf.

Family and friends OK so far. One friend was in the hospital for a few hours yesterday, but out last night. Funny how things work. For the last 8 years, I have gone to the Red Sox game with 9 other friends. After the game, we always walked down to Boylston Street and watch the runners finish. This year, a few of us had other commitments so we scratched the game and stayed home. Would have been in the area otherwise.

Glad you and Paul are OK. Tragic events yesterday. DD is wearing her Disney Marathon shirt in support of the victims.

She wants to be a nurse and has been accepted to nursing program at UT Chat as incoming freshman which is a pretty big deal as the freshmen accepted is minimal - normally have to wait until sophmore year to apply. She likes coaching especially the younger kids as she does clinics with 5-7 year olds to introduce them to the game and may do the coaching thing on the side.

Congrats to your daughter on getting accepted and taking on the coaching duties.

DW more or less admitted she was wrong, I was right last night. I wanted to back in January book our trip early, and take advantage of a PIN we recieved, she wanted to wait. now it looks like no deal will come our way, paying more. It's bad circumstances, but I'll take a win vs DW any day.

Congrats on being right... gotta celebrate the little victories...

Just something to keep in mind in the future, if you do get a pin code, or any other offer, you can make changes to the reservation if something better comes along with NO penalty, as long as it is more than 45 days out from your arrival date.

I get one of those or so a year. Remember, you can be right, or you can be happy.

On a positive note my dad has told me to start picking up shifts next month. He'll watch the kiddos while I nap when I get home. Considering my dad would not come home from working 3rd shift until after my sister and I went to school I'd call this a major shift. It'll also help with bills and paying for our trip this fall.

More money is good news.
