DIS Dads DDC XXVII: Penguins in Paradise!

We haven't eaten at all the restaurants in Epcot yet, but during F&W, I want to snack everywhere as opposed to eat at the restaurant.

I am planning to take full advantage of this!
And I am going to definitely get a beer sampler this time, too!

1. Food & Wine Festival Kiosk Snack Portions -If you’re visiting during Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival (late September through November, yearly), read no further than #1 on this list. If you’re visiting during the Food & Wine Festival, you should be using ALL of your snack credits at the temporary kiosks set up during Food & Wine Festival. In past years, snacks priced all the way up to $7 have been considered snacks on the Dining Plan. Normally, if a snack exceeds around $4.50, it is excluded from snack credit status, making those $6 and $7 snacks a great use of snack credits. Let’s just hope Disney doesn’t wise up to this wonderful use of snack credits anytime soon, and start excluding these foods from Snack Credit “status.”

Absolutely. So, we won't do ADR for Epcot. If all the snacks and drinks are bad, which has never happened before, then we will try a walk up at one of the countries. However, I'm thinking the karamel Korn might be involved in dinner at some point during the day. DW has suggested going to Beaches n Cream for lunch and ice cream as opposed to ESPN Club. I like the that you can get a pitcher of Yuengling there.

We all have areas in our life with more knowledge than others. Some are doctors, some are lawyers, mine is eating food at WDW. Oh well - looks like I got in the wrong line somewhere. Le Cellier and Yachtsman are both good. And, since you are in the area, the only really advantage Yachtsman has over Le Cellier is you don't have to have a theme park ticket to get in. Don't know if you are doing parks everyday or not, but if not, you could make it a Yacthsman day.

Randall you have done a great job here at the clubhouse filling Don's shoes was no easy task!!!

Brian is now not only controller of the Universe but now Chief executive baker...his is building a great reume there!!!

We have our upcoming trip scheduled beginning April 13.....Shari is the only one who has not had the luxury to celebrate a birthday there with a Disney Dinner....I pressed her last night to think of where she would like to go (all the while thinking that this close to going all the good places were booked). She decided Ohana or Whispering Canyon and I did the search and we were lucky enough to get Ohana!!! I love a girl who likes Ohana as much as me! April 15 at 5:20....I guess everyone else is trying to meet the tax deadline that day

To those who's birthday were missed since the last Birthday wish postings...

Hey, I just checked. I have an unbirthday today! Time for some cake.

We lost in the championship today by 3. Had 3 wide open layups by our center with time running down and he missed all three of them. Each one would have been for the lead. They hit foul shots at the end to seal it. I found my self yelling....time ouuuuuuu, oh each time he missed. I think if we had taken the lead on any of those shots we would have won.

All in all we had a great season with a good group of kids. I'm proud of the efforts, their improvement and how much we developed over the last few months. Second place, but definitely winners in the big picture.
