You don't think it will stay in the low 50's till at least 8am?

Just checked the hourly forecast for the next couple days. Apparently, the overnight lows are right at race time and the temps don't go up til 8 or 8:30. But for tonight for example, those lows are over 60 degrees. That will slow us down. Given your weather and mine, none of us have run in that kind of weather lately.

Yep. Great practice for telling a believable tall-tale.
Every story teller should play it just for the practice.

If you want to hear some experts at this spin a great definition, there is a radio program on some US Public Radio stations called: "Says You" that is based in part on the concept of that game. Im pretty sure you could find in online in podcast form as well. Funny stuff... entertaining and far superior to 98% of what passes for entertainment on US Television (thats for certain).

I do have a Keurig...

But in the morning I drink almost a pot of coffee... so instead of K-cups, I do a fresh pot...

Thanks for asking.
She's ok. Today is her last full day here. She had a rough night when she discovered she didn't have room to pack everything she wanted to bring back. Either that or she was cranky because she knew it was about time to leave. Also, ya know how she said "yes" to adoption? Not exactly. She's open to it and is still considering it. In other words, she doesn't know what she's going to do. We hate that we had to do this, but we gave here a deadline. She needs to let us know before she leaves (in about 24 hours) what she's going to do. We can't leave this door open forever, not fair to my family to do that. So in the next 24 hours, I should find out if I'll be a dad again. Of course, if she goes back and we find out a week later that she wants in, we'll still take her. But in that instance we would still be missing the very important aspect of hearing it from her own mouth. When we get an e-mail saying she wants to be in our family, there's no telling if she was coerced or if someone is putting words in her mouth.


I havent' checked the hour-by-hour forecast. The high temps are in the 70's so it may be in the 60's for part of the race. If it were 50 degrees for the whole thing, that'd be fine by me.

Well I hope you get your answer.

My son is also working through Epic Mickey (the original).

He never really got into it the first time 'round. So it sat on the shelf... He does want to get EM2, but I told him not until he finishes the first one.

So he is playing it again... We did buy part 2, just not opening it yet...

I didn't get through EM yet, just so little time to do it, right now girls are into the xbox anyways

It's alright... it's just an addiction that I don't have to deal with every morning.

That and I get out of having to make coffee at work because I can't tell the difference between "good" coffee and bad coffee.

My work had BAD coffee for years... I would have to run out to Tim Horton's or Starbucks twice a day...

I finally convinced them to bring in a much better French Roast along with the mud they've always been drinking.

They now call the good coffee.... "Brian's Coffee"... Although a lot of the office thank me for my efforts...
