But now it's my turn she's pulling out dresses with the tags still on them that she's never worn, I'm telling her to wear once o them the attention is on her brother not us, Now somehow I'm the bad guy:confused3

I haven't seen that weight in many years, so it sounds like you are doing better than I. As for telling her what to wear, no chance at all.

I guess your right, it seems like any event is a great time to go shopping for them

Yup, it is in their DNA. They must go spend money. You are strike 2.

One my all time favorite games. Ever!!!

I beat the game again just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Ah, the thrills in life.

Good morning. Hanging at the campground this weekend. Both need the break. Her from being housebound after the surgery, me from the repair work on the 25 year old decks. Good weather and quiet so far.

Sounds fun. Since you've been married 31 years, how many more before retirement? A permanent vacation sounds promising.

Morning, sitting at the food court prepping myself to jump into one of those crazy lines, drinking cocoa while catching up a touch. Girls are all sleeping still. Heading to MK tonight for BOG and meeting again with Jim no doubt to discuss how we can get more posts in.

After I am home I can post pics, we are at the halfway point, we are cat nearly 300 photo pass pics and my camera is at 1100 .

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

That is a lot of pictures. You and Jim and fun storming the castle again.

Morning Guys.

Quiet morning here so far. DS is still in bed, still tired from his games yesterday I guess. Have one game myself tonight, been away so much I think I have only played twice since the beginning of July. Might be a bit rusty.

I think I may have been insulted tonight:rotfl2: My brotherinlaw is getting married in 2 weeks and my wife wanted me to try on my suit that I got 12 years ago ( it's a really nice Italian one), by now most of you might know how this is going to go:rotfl: I'm 6ft tall and 190 lbs my wife says I look like I'm going to give birth soon:lmao:, OK so I have a bit of a beer gut but I'm german so I can put them down so what:confused3, anyway I try on my pants after a few minutes I finally got it buttoned:rotfl2:, then she said are you going to split the seem, so basically I did aerobics to prove I would not, my jacket fit fine but she said I look like I'm expecting, I told her that makes me respectable in society:thumbsup2 Am I wrong here 6ft 190 is not over weight, maybe the pants from 12 years ago may be a size 32 or 33 I take 34 now but once the are buttoned I'm fine:thumbsup2

But now it's my turn she's pulling out dresses with the tags still on them that she's never worn, I'm telling her to wear once o them the attention is on her brother not us, Now somehow I'm the bad guy:confused3

Good luck!

I'm eligible to retire now. I'm one of the last on the old civil service retirement plan. The current plan is two more years which would give me about 36 years service time. To max out benefits takes 42 years. As to permanent vacation I couldn't do that. Too many opportunities to get in trouble. The master plan is retire, move to central Florida and go to work at WDW, hopefully working into their training program. I have some experience both at the college and 'corporate' levels.

That's close to my plan, except I want the boat captain job MK, Poly, GF route. I'll settle for the MK WL route and the Resort Bay Lake route. :lmao:

I'm hoping to retire at 10 more years, but I really don't want to work anymore. I haven't decided yet where to settle. If I live close to WDW, then I'll go everyday. The only down side of that would be the $. I've also thought about living closer to the ocean, so I could go to the beach everyday, but still be close to the toll road for a direct route to WDW.

Of course, this is my backup plan as I 'm waiting for CJ to install those camper hookups for me.

They are releasing Mom in Law from the hospital. They found her sodium was low and had a uterine infection. They hooked her up to a IV drip with sodium and antibiotics and Jodi said her back to her old self. Did I mention Mom is 93?

Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers! :worship:

Good to hear she is better.

Home at last. Another 19 hours in the car and I was able to resist the urge to throw out someone on the side of the road. Planning on flying next year.

Did have one huge surprise when we got home. My aunt had been coming by to feed the cat and pick up mail and on Friday her and my mother came over and cleaned the house for my birthday present so we didn't have to do it when we got home. Now it is just getting the girls ready for school tomorrow.

Hookups? You opening a campground or preparing a site for armeggedon?

DISdad retirement home, lol

So a site for Armageddon. :thumbsup2

Sure, whatever you want to call it. I know each of your significant others will nix the idea.

Do you think she can come over and clean my house? Glad you made it back safely with everyone you were supposed to have with you.

Friend of mine from DC flew down to So. Fla. for the weekend. He dragged me to the Marlins' game this afternoon. The Rockies scored 3 in the second inning and I told him it was over. Surprisingly they came back to tie the game in the 4th. Rockies got another run in the 6th. Ugly to watch from then on. The at bats were just pitiful. He agreed it was ugly baseball but enjoyed seeing the new ballpark. He bought the tickets (behind home plate) so I was OK with going. They are unwatchable when they are at bat though.

We leave around 4:00 PM so the kids sleep after about 5 hours in the car. I can tolerate that. The return trip is a few more hours, but have yet to figure that one out. We tried hanging out in the parks, stopping at a hotel, etc, and just can't get it to work. Cool news on the birthday present.

I'm not opening a campground. I just want to make it nicer for CJ. I can take baths with the hose in his front yard and break into his house for tv and food, but I thought he would want it more upscale.
