Guys, I'm asking for your prayers and good thoughts for my wife Jodi and her Mom, Mabel. They just took her mother to the hospital after she had multiple seizures.

Thank You!

They are releasing Mom in Law from the hospital. They found her sodium was low and had a uterine infection. They hooked her up to a IV drip with sodium and antibiotics and Jodi said her back to her old self. Did I mention Mom is 93?

Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers! :worship:

Missed out in the initial prayer post but glad to see that she's doing better now! :thumbsup2

You've got great taste Dave! I'd love that ADR schedule!

Enjoy buddy.

As of right now, it appears I'm not getting to WDW till next April. As much as I'd like to go to DDCC2 - I'm not sure I can wing it this year. :headache:

Although I do get to go to Vegas for a "conference" in October! :cool1:

Good morning... or as good as can be expected for a Monday.

Glad things are looking better for your mother in law, Randall.

Dad' thoughts on this:

Would a one stop flight in Mid December going to WDW from Denver make since saving us $50 per person or would you elect for the non-stop?

The flight would change planes in KC with an hour layover making the total flight over 5 hours.
With our kids at ages 8,6, and 17 months, a direct flight is worth the extra $50/person so we don't have to deal with getting everyone on and off an extra plane and keeping them entertained during the layover, plus the added stress of missing a connection. Once they're older and can take care of themselves a little more, saving that money will probably look much more appealing.

And a milestone of my own. As I kid, I never had an Atari or a Nintendo. But, I would go play games over at friends' houses. So, the most recent game system I have is the Wii. So, I decided to download SuperMario Brothers, and I finally got the princess.

I know - pathetic - but it's all that keep me going these days.
Congratulations!

Thank you for the prayers Gentlemen! Mom is doing much better this morning. She had a few more seizures at the hospital, but none today. They admitted her and are still running tests. She is feeling better this morning, more alert then she has been. There is Power in DISDad's Prayer!
Great to hear, Randall!

The Pirate Princess called to have a chat. Things are going well, everything unpacked and organized. Tomorrow a trip to Target for a few items and classes Monday. Of course she called right when I was having dinner. Normally not a big deal but the menu tonight was ribeye, grilled tomato with parmesan, saute mushrooms and au gratin potatoes. Luckily I had about half of it before she called. I done et good.
Good luck to Crash today.

And all of the other kids going back to school - mine have just over a week left of summer vacation.

Just a reminder: One week from today the first full schedule of college football games will be played.
First season with a totally new head coach here in Wisconsin. Bielma was hand picked by Alvarez, so he was really a continuation of the old regime. The new guy is from outside the state. Should be interesting to see how he runs things.

Let's Bring On The HERD!!!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
I see that Conference USA is aligned with a new bowl game in the Bahamas. Got your passport ready, Steve?

G'mornin.

Busy weekend with DD7's Birthday party but very enjoyable.

Glad to see that Randall's MIL is doing better. :thumbsup2

Good morning, Dads. Had an interesting occurrence this morning. After coming in one of the post gates, i pulled onto the road that takes me to my building and right in front of me is a HMMWV towing a lightweight 105mm howitzer. Got to make the last few hundred yards of my drive to work with a big ol' muzzle pointed right at my windshield. Hoo-ahh.

Good Morning Gents! Laid back weekend getting yardwork done (we love to hang outside) so we can chill this coming 3 day weekend. DD is coming home for the extended weekend and is gonna be great to see her. Just got call from DW that freezer is not working, ice cubes and ice cream all melted - oh joy nice Monday morning gift. Well, have a great week guys and let's get to the 3 day weekend!

a little surprise for the kid. we are going to be showing up a day early for this trip. she has no idea. :rotfl: we will be getting there, pending traffic, on Friday around 5pm instead of Saturday at 2pm.
we want to head over to the mk and surprise her on Friday. she will be working Saturday so that will give us time to go food shopping etc....
she said she is packed all ready to stay with us at okw. I thought I got rid of her sleeping on the pull out in the living room. :rotfl:
being she is off I don't have to bring the Nissan this trip. this weekend im going to clean the benz inside and out and start packing it up. one of my favorite parts of the trip, getting ready!
have a good weekend!!! :thumbsup2
Really cool and great ADR plans. Hope the magic at MK does not frop of without Brianna working for a week.

Prayers, and glad to hear all turned out o.k.
I think I may have been insulted tonight:rotfl2: My brotherinlaw is getting married in 2 weeks and my wife wanted me to try on my suit that I got 12 years ago ( it's a really nice Italian one), by now most of you might know how this is going to go:rotfl: I'm 6ft tall and 190 lbs my wife says I look like I'm going to give birth soon:lmao:, OK so I have a bit of a beer gut but I'm german so I can put them down so what:confused3, anyway I try on my pants after a few minutes I finally got it buttoned:rotfl2:, then she said are you going to split the seem, so basically I did aerobics to prove I would not, my jacket fit fine but she said I look like I'm expecting, I told her that makes me respectable in society:thumbsup2 Am I wrong here 6ft 190 is not over weight, maybe the pants from 12 years ago may be a size 32 or 33 I take 34 now but once the are buttoned I'm fine:thumbsup2

But now it's my turn she's pulling out dresses with the tags still on them that she's never worn, I'm telling her to wear once o them the attention is on her brother not us, Now somehow I'm the bad guy:confused3
Good luck with this but if I were a betting man I would not be putting any money down on you :)
Home at last. Another 19 hours in the car and I was able to resist the urge to throw out someone on the side of the road. Planning on flying next year.
Glad you got home safe.

The joys of working on a military installation....

I got woken up by the sound of a telephone at 0330 with a SWAT Team call out.....

Just as I'm sprinting out the door all dressed up we get a stand down...FML.

Like any good princess, I love a good dress up, I just want to go to a ball once I'm done:lmao::lmao:

So Starbucks it is....oh well, it's the Universe resetting after a good weekend of fishing:cool1:
