Sleep problems again. So decided to make banana nut bread for the kid. I am having juevos rancheros from scratch. The salsa is simmering now. Have to run to the store to get some refried beans when it opens. Wonder if I will get any looks at the checkout line at 7 am with just a can of refried beans. No window cleaning today but have to get on the roof to clear some leaves and sticks.

Glad to hear everyone in transit is successfully making it to the World. Should be some nice meet ups. That is if you can avoid my nemei. Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Sunday.

Sorry you can't sleep but since you are up could you run some of that up here us? There are plenty of dads in the world that would be more than happy to help eat it.

ut oh I might be in risk of losing my DAD card,but we let the kids sleep in anyways. No rope drop for us today. Mk is open till 1am tonight so We plan on a late night or early morning which ever you prefer.
Wife took girls to AK this am. See what time the boys get up then will decide what to do for the day. Oh I love these wing it as you go trips

Need some sage advice on a room request. We'll be at BWV for F&W Festival. Our room is preferred pool\garden view. I'm doing the online check-in and torn on the request. I already have pool view and plan on calling DVC to request a quiet pool. Juts wondering if anyone had thoughts on a 2nd request,,, the choices are ground floor, lower floor, upper floor, near elevator, near lobby, pool view.

These are the things that keep me awake at night.

Terrible to stay awake with troubling thoughts like that. Personally, I don't think the "long hallway walks" are that terribly long. I get the standard view over at the BWV to save points. DW doesn't like ground floor because she thinks snakes may be able to get into the room. So, I probably wasn't much help. Do you want to wait on elevator?

Wow. That's what you get for your 13th anniversary? Maybe next year, 14 rides on dumbo's flying circus?

Next year we'll be in the middle of our east coast road trip. But I'm sure we'll find something equally stupid to do.

I suggested to DW for our 10th anniversary we do Star Tours 10 times. All I got was The Look.

You've got to do it 54 times - one for each possible combination of ride scenes.

Hmmm.... If you do go to Nick's place, you will be passing right by Brent and Me.

Definitely do close to elevator. Those hallways are LONG and the elevators are only on the end near the lobby.

Made it home from Canada Games about 10 am this morning and managed to get a few hours sleep. We had a great 17 days at the Games, lots of great performances and for a small province, did all right in the medal count.

What I am looking forward to most today is some family time and some real food. In fact, the steaks just went on the grill.

As the pictures are rolling by, a picture of you Ian took at the DDCC 1 pops up, and I said "That's Carl, he's my Nemesis!" My Granddaughter asked why you were my nemesis and I told her "Because he likes the Steelers!" She then said "So, you're like Agent P and he's like Dr. Doofenshmirtz?" I said "Yes baby, that is exactly what it's Like."

First day of school in South Florida. For old time sake, I had to wake mine up to tell her she was late for school and needed to get up. She chuckled a bit content in knowing those days are over. Last week of her summer though. She flies out Friday morning.
