All top QBs gone.
All top TEs gone.
Top 5 RBs gone.
Top 5 WRs gone.

Those may represent 40% of team production. Yes, there are a few other players, but that is a big hole to climb out of. Maybe I can draft the top defense and top kicker to make up for that match up advantage. :lmao:

Just remember that a lot of times top 5 RB and WR lists at the beginning of the season look a lot different from the top 5 at the end of the season. Injuries happen and guys break out. I grabbed Doug Martin late in the Draft last year and he ended up being my best RB.

Evening guys

In Richburg SC everyone felt drained so we stopped for the night and will have to push hard tomorrow. Did a lot of stopping too. Plus traffic approaching Charlotte NC was a *****. Had dinner and made back to motel in time to watch Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel
Just catching up before sleep. Going to aim to be back on road before 7 am

We cheered, waved and all yelled"HELLO ROB" when we passed it.

I'm almost there!

I though I heard someone holler out my name around dinnertime.
Welcome to the Southern Carolina.

Charlotte can be right nasty during the rush hour but that should be the last really bad spot you’ll run across.
You’ve done made it through the hardest part of the drive.

Tomorrow… Disney!

We're planning a road trip for next August, but need some help from our friends. The plan is to head out to the Washington, DC / Philadelphia / New York area. If you live there - or along the route from Wisconsin - we're looking for the local attraction guides or area maps that they have sitting out in highway rest areas, etc. If would be so kind as to grab a few and drop them in the mail, we'd really appreciate it. Our plan is to give some of them to the kids before we go so they can help plan the activities and the routes, and give them the rest as we enter each state/area as part of a travel game we're planning. (If you don't have my address, just message me and I'll pass it along.) Thanks!

Are you taking the north toll road through Indiana both ways or will you be going the southern route (either I 70 or I 64) going to or returning from the dc area?

Evening guys! Had a great lunch with Jim today. Talked a lot of Disney and family. Great times.

For those going to WDW soon, hope you don't get the bands, noticed lots of problems with them, luckily we did not have them, but my friends did everyday someone in their party had a problem. Lots or entry into park hold ups with them seems like a lot of rebooting always happening:confused3:rotfl2:

Well, we are not in the same division. And, if it is like last year, even if we have a inter-division match up, there will be a third team. So, you can sport 3 losses a week. I drafted my worst team ever in fantasy thus far last year, and since it is now a keeper league, I'll have a crappy team going forward.

The only good news is that I have finished ahead of my nemesis both seasons.

Not this year bubba

And we are off like a herd of turtles. Only 16 hours of interstate between us and Disney world now.

Safe travels :thumbsup2

Exactly. Although I finished last, a couple of my guys I picked up late did well.

Top of the morning guys. I'm ready for our fantasy draft!! :cool1:

We are filming our adoption fundraiser video today, at least starting it. Within the next month or two it will be featured on a website. We are going against the grain and making a happy, funny and cheerful video. Most of the ones take their cue from those "feed the children" commercials. I would rather make people smile and laugh then cry :thumbsup2

G'mornin gents. Happy weekend!

Make 'em laugh then make 'em cry. Sounds like a good plan. :thumbsup2:lmao:

Haven't decided yet. We're working on a few itineraries/routes. One each of the north toll rode and southern route, plus one that just skirts the northern bit of Indiana and goes up through Michigan and Canada, hitting Niagara Falls on the way.
The areas we have tentatively targeted are Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Niagara Falls, New York State & City, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia, DC, West Virginia, New Jersey & Pennsylvania.
We're planning a two week trip, with at least a few days in each of NYC & DC, so there's not a lot of time for the other locations, but our goal is to make at least one stop and take in one local attraction in each state.

Good Luck! Just don't do it Blair Witch style. The shaky camera work makes me nauseous.

:

Stay out of KY. We don't want your kind here anyway.

The first pick of the draft in the Donald Division is in :thumbsup2

Did you have Spiller last year? I don't think we are going to see a whole lot of changes in the standings with this keeper league.

How about this for an omen? I hear some popping and hissing in the bathroom, and I immediately think about the plumbing. But, when I go in there, I find this.

So, on this day of the MFL DISdad Fantasy Draft, is this exploding shaving cream a sign that my team will be exploding this season for a top 3 finish? Or, does it mean that my team has already exploded, and it is time to throw away the season. Hmmmmmm........ Only time will tell on this one. :lmao:

I will! I'd like to see if we can squeeze in a trip to Nick's restaurant, but the 4 hour round trip might be a bit too much.

We did KY a few years back. But that was pre-Ryder, so we'll have to make it that way again sometime.

I did at the beginning, but he got hurt so I dropped him.
