Welcome back.
Top of the morning guys. I'm ready for our fantasy draft!! :cool1:

We are filming our adoption fundraiser video today, at least starting it. Within the next month or two it will be featured on a website. We are going against the grain and making a happy, funny and cheerful video. Most of the ones take their cue from those "feed the children" commercials. I would rather make people smile and laugh then cry :thumbsup2
Good luck. :thumbsup2
Pensacola by dawn, with a dead battery. Got it charged up gonna grab some grub while we are here and back on the road.
Hope your luck improves.

How about this for an omen? I hear some popping and hissing in the bathroom, and I immediately think about the plumbing. But, when I go in there, I find this.

So, on this day of the MFL DISdad Fantasy Draft, is this exploding shaving cream a sign that my team will be exploding this season for a top 3 finish? Or, does it mean that my team has already exploded, and it is time to throw away the season. Hmmmmmm........ Only time will tell on this one. :lmao:
:lmao:
I take it to mean you should give up shaving.

Serious question. The grandmothers insist on taking the kids to the beach. It looks like St. Petersburg, Daytona and Coaco Beach are about the same distance. Which would you recommend. Also, Daytona has Bike Week starting the 17th. We'd be going either the 16th or 17th. Any idea how bad bike week would be if we went there?

Never been to any of the 3. However, I like the Atlantic beaches better than the Gulf beaches. So, if Daytona has bike week, and you want to avoid bike week, then I would pick Cocoa Beach. A friend from here goes to WDW (not as often), but they either stay a few days or he will go out to Cocoa Beach to surf. He really likes that beach.

A picture involving a time warp ..... Looks like a happy bunch.

Evening... Drive down was good, no traffic or construction, got off to early start, rain was not a factor, though there was lots of it. Little bit as we got to Florida, but it cleared for a really nice evening. Ate at Slow 'n Low BBQ.. Good! Kids LOVED the beach and pool. About time for sleep. Stay safe everyone!

I though I heard someone holler out my name around dinnertime.
Welcome to the Southern Carolina.

Charlotte can be right nasty during the rush hour but that should be the last really bad spot you’ll run across.
You’ve done made it through the hardest part of the drive.

Tomorrow… Disney!

I can pinpoint the time 5:45... Don't know why but I logged it in my notebook

It's going to be a beautiful weekend here in southeast Wisconsin. Mid to upper 70s and sunny all three days. Too bad I'll be spending it on the couch with a bag of frozen peas, recovering from my visit with Dr. Snippy. Hope everyone else has a better weekend.

Wow. That's what you get for your 13th anniversary? Maybe next year, 14 rides on dumbo's flying circus?

Good to hear you made it safely. We got hammered around Tallahassee and most of the way to Orlando. We are finally here at the resort, just ordered a pizza too tired to eat anything else.

Norm, I think exploding shaving cream means your nemesis is trying to rattle you on Draft day to throw you off your game.

I'm going against Norm here. We prefer Gulf Coast to Atlantic Coast. We've done St. Pete Beach a few times and like it there. I'd definitely do either St. Pete or cocoa during bike week though.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I suggested to DW for our 10th anniversary we do Star Tours 10 times. All I got was The Look.

For our 10th anniversary I took Randall's advice, I had 10 cocktails during the course of the day, maybe a couple more:lmao:, but I was feeling good no pain:thumbsup2

Sleep problems again. So decided to make banana nut bread for the kid. I am having juevos rancheros from scratch. The salsa is simmering now. Have to run to the store to get some refried beans when it opens. Wonder if I will get any looks at the checkout line at 7 am with just a can of refried beans. No window cleaning today but have to get on the roof to clear some leaves and sticks.

Glad to hear everyone in transit is successfully making it to the World. Should be some nice meet ups. That is if you can avoid my nemei. Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Sunday.

Andy is on to me :rotfl2: of course, it was supposed to explode on him!

Sounds like a good plan to me. At 13 years, DW does 't even bother with the look anymore - all my ideas are bad.

She said have a good time. Her idea was we do the fancy Food & Wine demo. She did tell me to have a good time at Star Tours.

Well, you could always get your drink on. Alcohol makes things better.

.

I never thought about that". I need to check the security system.

10 drinks over the course of the day would definitely improve most days.

.

Only if you go in your cousin Eddie bathrobe. Maybe Miami is different, but I have seen my share of goofballs in Florida Of course, they could have all been tourists.

Andy is on to me :rotfl2: of course, it was supposed to explode on him!

That is a lot of effort. You sure you just didn't order a shaving cream hit by one of the Sicilian brothers?
