'Morning Ghouls...

*** Hum, huh, wha... ***

How'd I get here?
Its like I lost track of time there.

Oh well, back to work.

Morning all...

Prayers still offered for the folks cleaning up after the storms.

For those following my drainage DW was officially terminated this afternoon, hello unemployment. We move on now.

Not good. Staying was probably going to be untenable, but being cut adrift is never good regardless of the conditions. May the transition to different pastures go more smoothly and quickly.

Is it just me...
or does George look just a little less then enthused in that picture?

Miami verses Boston? Really?

Fall foliage against sunshine and warm temps even in February? Whale WATCHING against scuba diving WITH turtles, sharks and tropical fishes? Striper fishing against tarpon, dolphin and marlin fishing? Halloween in Salem against the year round nightlife in South Beach? Plymouth Rock. Really a rock? I wont bother with a comeback to a rock. Martha's Vineyard or the Cape against the Florida Keys? Boston Marathon against ING Marathon plus the Orange Bowl, NASCAR, The Doral Championship, SONY Open...? Bunker Hill and Boston Common against a clothing optional beach? Basketball Hall of Fame against one of a number of cruise ships sailing the Caribbean? Touring the Sam Adams brewery against only 245 miles from drinking Sam Adams at Disney World?

You go fishing for dolphin? What would Flipper say!

Sharks eat people!

Come on, we can cruise the Caribbean from Boston or NY if we want.

In the year of a presidential election, you feel south beach and clothing optional is more important than seeing where our forefathers liberated our country.:sad2:

He asked me what I could offer, I didn't say he should take it.

We do have better lobster.

Ooooooo... a new battle royal to follow.
This one could be entertaining.
(Sorry to say this Jim, but right now& CJ is winning the argument).

I'm just glad that we can finally see a proper, respectful film treatment of Howard the Duck.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Good Mornin' Guys....

Halloween Trick or Treating for our town has been pushed back to Friday because of the weather.

DD's are bummed.

Just tell them that since it wont be a school night they can stay out collecting up all the goodies even longer.

Good morning...Happy Halloween..

Hope the clean-up goes well for everyone..stay safe

Everything I seehas him looking rather glum...guess he'll just go home and cry in his billions..

Morning guys. :surfweb:

Hey Paul and Barry. With the Disney Star Wars news today, I see a new parks half marathon called the Kessel Run. I hope you can do it in 12 parsecs

:rotfl2: That's funny.

The problem is though; a parsec is a measure of distance, not time. ;)

I don't have a dog in this fight but I'm convinced. :thumbsup2

CJ, you left out Fantasy Fest. :lmao:

So, have you both decided to declare? Should I add you to page one?

Ooooooo... a new battle royal to follow.
This one could be entertaining.

I'm trying. To be honest with winter rolling in, I'd rather be in the sunshine. It does bring up some more activities though.....Skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, ice skating (no hockey:sad1:).

Happy Halloween guys!

:offtopic: Does anyone else in the northeast now have about 800 pounds of leaves and branches to pick up this weekend? Hey CJ, bet you can't have as much fun picking up leaves as we do? Almost makes you want to come help doesn't it? (worked for Tom Sawyer):rolleyes1

Hey guys, Happy Halloween!

Will be off and on today. Got slammed with orders this morning.:thumbsup2 Great for our bottom line, but now I have to work all day. Can you believe it? Last day of the month, Halloween and they expect us to work all day.:lmao::lmao:

Will check in here and there. For those still waiting for power and cleaning up, best wishes and prayers.

And for CJ........well.....you know.:rolleyes1

Kessel is located next to a black hole cluster called the Maw. To get there you have to cross the gravitational pull of the Maw. The faster the ship the shorter the route.

I was thinking the same thing... He's thinking... What the hell has my life come to... I created the single highest grossing science fiction series off all time, invented technology to bring this story to life... And now I am posing with a mouse and duck!!!

Whoa…
I actually understand that explanation.

That’s the first time I’ve seen any one even attempt to savage that particular “error” (with anything that comes close to making sense that is). Original work, or did you run across that on if your travels through out the galaxy?

Happy Halloween gentlemen. Safe Trick or Treating tonight.

Glad the guys out east made it through in good shape.

After having created Jar Jar…
He’s actually traveling with far more sophisticated company now.
:lmao:

He’s just no longer in charge (and that’s probably be a good thing ).

Office Halloween party is today. I had my Dread Pirate Roberts costume all ready to go, but had to call an audible at the last minute based on recent events.

I have to agree. (The six year old in me just cried)

George had a hand in writing all six movies. What no one mentions is that in the first trilogy they were rewriting the script on set. Harrison once said, "George you can write this $#!+ but you can't say it." The famous line "I know" by Han was never in the script. I don't think there was any reworking of the script in the second trilogy which is probably why it was so stiff. Hopefully some new blood will help.

I've also been saying for years they should take Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire Trilogy and turn that into the last trilogy.
