As per Chris' request, here are some photos of my son at the Baltimore Air Show in June. He is still the Crew Chief for the Blue Angels #1 jet and he's still the tall, thin guy.

Very Cool Mike...

:thumbsup2

Morning gentlemen

Woke up to a panicked wife saying something was wrong with the car. It was just the motor mounts. So I am up early cleaning and waiting for the coffee maker to finish. :headache:

Loved the Blue Angels pics.

Hello all, New to these parts! My names Scott, working on our third trip in three years this november!!!

Welcome Scott!

This has been a very difficult 14 months, for sure. The past week or two have been a real answer to prayer. If she can actually continue to get better, we might actually make that trip next August! :cool1:

Good to hear from you Mike! I'm glad to hear your wife has seen at least a little improvement. Praying that continues.

Thanks... was allot of fun... even if my favorite Experience got voted out in Round 1... No love for Philharmagic. :headache:

That was due to the inordinate amount of love for Livin' With The Land. :sad2:

Yo! Just stopping by... :thumbsup2

Who are you? :confused3:lmao:

And finally good morning everyone and welcome to all new members, I'm just glad I'm not the new newbie anymore, the hazing was brutal :)

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Alarm clock went off this morning, and in my blurry, floggy, mostly-still-sleeping state I had to think - where am I? Then the answer came - Crap, I'm at home. No more magic, time to go back to work. Then finish unpacking. Then sort through a few thousand pictures and video. Then..., well that's enough to have to think about for now.

Did I miss anything?

Welcome Back Barry...

We enjoyed getting together with you guys.

The only thig you really missed was the start of my trip report.... Oh look, there it is in my signature. :lmao:

I remembered to actually plug my phone into the wall, cannot wait for that wireless power haha

I have wireless power... got it in my pocket right now. ::yes::

Sorry forgot to sneak in your house last night and unplug your phone for you... I'll try to do better. By the way...that Minnie Mouse Night gown you were wearing... great choice. :lmao:

As many know I've been trying to quit smoking the attempt a few weeks ago didn't fully work so my new plan has done some good, I spent 2 weeks and I cut down to half a pack from a full pack and now I'm goin to cut down to 5 for a week with the goal being to quit on the 7th and when our trip rolls around it'll be a month since I quit so trying to put some meaning behind it

Good luck with this... Really... if you die...it must be caused one of my inators...not some unhealthy habit. :smokin:

I got a 2nd Nemisis... or is he the third? Oh well doesn't matter.

Be sure and check out your Football Team... you may need Bye Week help.

Oh... and I almost recruited a new member for Team Barry... his name is Timmy. :thumbsup2

Welcome home! I know, it's better when a DVC Cast Member says it. Good luck with your transition to the real world.

I don't think you missed anything, except the Dalai Lama dropped by and told us on our deathbeds we will achieve total consciousness.

Good to hear from you and that things have been getting a bit better.

I should of planned my last post better but good news I remembered to actually plug my phone into the wall, cannot wait for that wireless power haha

As my coworker says, "I don't know why they call these things wireless devices. It always seems to have a wire coming out of it going to the wall."

Anything you do to cut back is probably a good thing. Good luck! :thumbsup2

Sad to say that I have never seen that movie. :sad2: Happy to say that I have it queued up to record in the DVR for tomorrow night at 8:00 on AMC. popcorn::

I'm glad you enjoyed that night gown, it was for your eyes only ;) , I agree I would enjoy being turned into broccoli instead of hacking out a lung

Nice!
Thanks for the pics.

Quitting is tough. Very tough.
But all attempts are worth it.
Keep it up.

Morning Gents! Back to work today for two days and then off for the long weekend.

I know why we’re “supposedly” have a long weekend, but what are y’all “celebrating”?

Will most likely be back up and on the road the week of 10 Sept. Give me something to look forward to... Nothing like an hour and a half presentation to go over 140 slides and allow for questions.

Oh joy… :faint:

Alarm clock went off this morning, and in my blurry, floggy, mostly-still-sleeping state I had to think - where am I? Then the answer came - Crap, I'm at home. No more magic, time to go back to work. Of course you did. I recommend that you sit down and carefully read the entire closing of the previous thread and then catch up on this one. :rolleyes1

Oh… and welcome back.

Who are you? :confused3:lmao:
Good question... even I can't answer that sometimes. :faint:

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

So my plan to keep time moving forward worked out perfectly!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh... and I almost recruited a new member for Team Barry... his name is Timmy. :thumbsup2

Ummmmmmm...... NO!

It was feeling better and Chris and Steve were right in their FB diagnosis. But, it was worth the co-pay peace of mind to know I can start using it again. I've sprained ankles before, but never 12 weeks to recover. Of course, I have not had this much weight before, either.

Yo! Just stopping by... :thumbsup2

Hi, Tim! :wave2:

Don't want to share your good news? Or are you so used to getting good news that its no big deal? (or maybe I missed it in the pages of banter...)

She had a picc line so it wasn't too tough. Besides, I injected HPLC columns for 19 years so I had some previous practice! :rotfl2:

LOL! But anyone can inject a PICC line. To do so without getting infected, that's something to be proud of! Nice work, pal! :thumbsup2

Excellent! Thanks!

So we have that going for us, which is nice.

I think there are VW Beetles with less weight then I have. :sad2:

Welcome. Dues are payable in bacon, dole whips, beer, and cake. Get them out in the mail soon, we're all eagerly awaiting them.

Some more then others.

Witch hunt? I think your nemesis has you paranoid. :stir:

She turned me into a newt!

That is good news!! Reminds me that I saw a kid at the playground today who decided to jump from the top of the slide... came down hard with all his weight directly over his feet. I think he broke his ankle.

He seemed to be in a bit of pain as his parents carried him away. I wanted to go over and tell them to make sure he rolls on the landing next time.

And now he knows! And knowing is half the battle!

Wait, I live in the Tri-State area!!! What gives?

Do you notice repeated attempts at takeovers?

Welcome back!

Got home Tuesday and back to work Wednesday. Still unpacking at home and about to fall asleep at my desk.

It was great meeting you and Brian. Sorry I could not spend more time with you guys, but I did not want to create any family drama. I missed Ron as our schedules never seemed to mesh.
