im with ya. without going into details, just remind them you did some stupid things and how you wish you hadnt done them and how you suffered for it.
example, briana went through the stage of couldnt stand school and studying. i reminded her how im 40ish, didnt pay attention in school and look how i write. my english and spelling is less than perfect to say the least. i couldnt stand english class. math i love. after that, she started working hard. one heck of a way to show her why studing is important but it worked.

Yep, the New iPad. Still can't link the iPod and get one of my mailboxes. Trip to the Genius bar to have them figure it out. The resolution on the screen is as good as my HDTV. Cool toy. Maybe bring it to the restaurant and show him sites like how to kill someone and leave no evidence.

briana was 18 for her sr. prom. i just told her, remember, you are a 18 year old adult. they put adults in jail, they dont call mom and dad if theres any problems. she was home by 1am

Yeah, as CJ said, it's kinda late to freak out now when they are going away to college later. The problem is that we know what every boy is thinking about our dds. I certainly don't want my child put in jail, but am a believer in natural and logical consequences. DW constantly yells to do homework, clean room, etc. my approach is to tell them once, remind them again, and maybe one more reminder. If th task isn't done, then they face the consequence - bad grade, not going outside, no chore money, etc.

You can add technology to my list of deficiencies. That is why the Genius Bar was invented. Question. What is mobile flash capabilities and do I have it? More importantly do I need it? And can I use it underwater to take mobile flash pictures of fishes?

Went to doc today. Confirmed Tha back is muscle (he thinks). So, rest til Friday and if not better, then MRI Monday. It will be better by then. I fear having any type of surgery, much less on my back.

There is not a test my doc won't run. But, I have been a patient there for over 10 years and I trust him.

Maybe she needs to get her own insurance separate from me. That's still 6 years away, and the way she drives the Indy cars at WDW, I may not let her get her license.
