February 1974. We converted my dad's slides about 20 years ago to digital images so the quality is not great but there are some really interesting ones!

I have oodles! We came down to FL one week every Feb from 73-86 and my dad took photos of everything! This is from the castle looking down at Main Street. Again this is 1974 so no special "extra magic" late night hours.

I noticed that the ladies wore skirts or dresses and the men had dress pants and shirts on. Also there wasn't much of a crowd at that point. I bet you have some wonderful photos of those slides of your fathers. thanks for sharing.

Yes in most of our photos on Main Street, no one is actually walking on the street but rather just staying on the sidewalks because there just weren't a lot of people. We live about 1.5 hrs from WDW and go often and my teens were commenting how things were so different yet the same if that makes sense!

I have a photo of people walking down Main Street in 1979 and there's a woman wearing a skirt, dressy blouse and platform type heels! And there were more benches back then too.
