My kids get Easter week. Only 28 days of school left for them this year. DS had a better year, DD not so much. Says she hasn't learned anything and I would tend to agree.

We always get the last Friday in March thru the first week in April. I would prefer to have Spring Break after Easter, but it is just random.

you guys coming down our way, but I'm assuming you don't come through the upstate of SC to get to hilton head.

I think we are going thru Atlanta. I need to check the route one more time.

A slight setback Monday. I wore crocs to work for the first time, and walked to the post office to stop mail and courthouse to pay taxes. It was such a beautiful day. Well, when I get home, the insides of both second toes are blistered. One was purple. I could have been from all the soccer Sat and Sun, or from wearing my generic crocs. I am assuming in was the crocs, but maybe not. (I hope I would notice something swollen or purple on my toe.). So, I washed some scissors, wiped of the area, popped the blisters and drained the fluid, and used neosporin and band aids today. Well, my toes were sore. So, I didn't work out today. I need to suck it up and stay with it.

Sorry, forgot to take pictures of the blisters.

Day one of farm safety days is in the books. Good day and didn't get eaten alive by 4th graders, so I'll take that as a win. I did feel an urge to smack one upside the head during one class session but I was able to show restraint.

Got home and did some work on the farm. Too early to plant due to the early date although the soil is definitely warm enough. We've been taking advantage of the weather and getting some tillage and much needed weed control done.

DS rode with me for 3 hours today and found a place to take a nap. First picture is a view from my seat, the second is a view from outside the cab with the door open. He drooled in his sleep and woke up with a muddy face. Mommy wasnt too amused when she came to get him, but he seemed perfectly happy.

we are near greenville, sc. augusta is a couple hours from here.

That adds about 40 min onto our drive. If you were close by, I might alter the route but won't ask you to drive that far. We'll go thru Atlanta. We are planning on leaving around 7:30 PM and should hit Atlanta around 4:00 AM. I think we'll miss the traffic. Youngest dd wants to go to the American Girl doll store. I don't want tot drive in Atlanta traffic. I know I'm going to lose this one though. Maybe we'll all be to sunburned to stop on the drive home.

we go to atlanta all the time, DW loves to shop there, and traffic is pretty good on the weekends. during the week it is a nightmare.
