Outback is giving out free Bloomin Onions with purchase on the 20th, mmmm think I'm going Outback for dinner Tues

The nearest Outback is 50 miles away. The gas would cost more than the onion.

. Norm how you doing with the weigh watching ? I really need to start bad but my stress has came down a bit with wife getting job and i think I really need to start working out .

I am down 15 pounds in a month. I have a lot further to go.

for one time I so agree with you !!! but the exception is my mom she b!@#$% moans and complains she needs a pocket book but never buys one so i buy her one she hates it 2 month later I say nice pocket book she says thank ,

I bought DW a key chain/ wallet from her alma mater, and if a pocket book was there, then I would buy that there as well. But, other that that, ain't happening. I have had a wallet now close to 15 years. DW has bought me two replacements I won't use. Something you just have to buy for yourself.

I don't think I have ever been in the top 10 this long... Must be something going on.

I got the MyFitnessPal app on my phone today and took it for a test drive. At first I thought it was lowballing me on the calorie intake. (1770 after I put it all my info and goals) but then I realized that it credits you for any exercise you do. Day one almost in the books and I came in about 100 calories under the mark. not bad.

I use it too. It is a great app. I like how you cab take pictures of bar code scanner and it brings item up.

I bought DW a purse once. I also got her one of the small mickey ones they sell in WDW

Anything Disney related is exempt.

I am really starting to get use to this being light out till at least 7, and the warmer temps, can actually get a few things done when I get home from work

Agree. I think we need to start a movement to discard DST and change it to where it stays light all the time in the evening.

I try to play once a week. I usually golf with my father-in-law, so the DW doesn't care that I go. He just bought a new cart this year so we were breaking that in. I could use any club that would make a hook or a slice disappear.

My FIL has 0 interest in sports. He hunts, but he only does it for food. He raises and shoes horses, but no desire for racing.

This is the week of the big office move. The trucks will be arriving soon. I am scheduled to move next Monday, but know it will be chaos this week. I have everything packed up, except for pictures of my dds and a few other personal items that will go with me in a last box. I plan to walk over to post office to stop mail and Courthouse to pay taxes to escape the madness.

I have everything packed up, except for pictures of my dds and a few other personal items that will go with me in a last box. I plan to walk over to post office to stop mail and Courthouse to pay taxes to escape the madness.

And, my iPad case is supposed to arrive today. Then, I can bring it to work to have something to do since everything else is boxed up.

Morning all…
Let’s just see if I can keep up this week. At least it’s starting out better then the last two.

I just bought my DW a purse yesterday.

It's our anniversary Wednesday, and she wanted a new purse.

Orginally she wanted a MICHE, they are really kinds cool. You buy 1 purse, and put different "shells" on them, so you can have many different styles with a single purse.

I bought that for her, but it turns out the purse itself was a little small.

So we returned it, and I got her a GUESS.

After re-reading that post, I think I have to hand this back in...

I hope the DISMom's club still has room for me.

It’s not that you bought the purse…
It’s the extent to which you were aware of the associated details of said purse and the nuances between various brands of purse.

But I see it more like confession rather then a turning in of the card moment. Penance must be paid. A transgression of this level would call for the consumption of at least 1 six-pack of the beer of your choice, chased by any a half dozen bacon encrusted munchies, while spending the entire evening in a recliner in front of the largest flat-screen in the house which must be continually channel surfed through a series of shows and events that the rest of the family hates. Add in about a score of generous farts and I think we can call it even.

I’ll keep it in mind, but being as their mark up on the one of those onions is somewhere around 1200%, giving out a free one once in a while is the least they could do.
