Wow you guys let me down!!!!:confused3 Here I thought we started a new game where I would list the word/words of the day to avoid and you guys would go crazy and and have fun with those words :rolleyes1. The word boat took off but I guess no one had anything to post about tired and sore:confused3.Oh well so much for the word of the day game. Who knows maybe I will try it again tomorrow with a new word:rotfl2:

After re-reading that post, I think I have to hand this back in...

I hope the DISMom's club still has room for me.

Hahhaha.... Gotta love the self-policing that goes on around here! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I just bought my DW a purse yesterday.

It's our anniversary Wednesday, and she wanted a new purse.

Orginally she wanted a MICHE, they are really kinds cool. You buy 1 purse, and put different "shells" on them, so you can have many different styles with a single purse.

I bought that for her, but it turns out the purse itself was a little small.

So we returned it, and I got her a GUESS.

Dude.

and lastly, before I turn in...

some St. Patrick's Day entertainment... slightly late (or very very early for next year!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCbuRA_D3KU&sns=fb

Enjoy!!

A classic.

consecutive page ownage...

just to add that yesterday I weighed in at 236 lbs, for a loss of 1.5 lbs for week 2.

Starting weight: 240lbs
Week 1: 237.5 (-2.5)
Week 2: 236.0 (-1.5)
Week 3 target: 233 (-3.0)

averaging 2lbs per week so far, so I am on track. Softball is canceled for tomorrow, but I think it is high time to start fitting some exercise in to help things along. Would really love to get down to 230 by the end of this month!!

Great job!

Good afternoon gentlemen!

The DW is having a "purse party" today at our house. Needless to say, I'll be retreating to the man cave and thus enjoying my kegerator with some college b-ball on TV. :thumbsup2

Having a great day thus far, cleaning for our guests! Gotta have parties so the house gets clean!

Streaming DISRadio through my AirPlay enabled Audio Receiver. Soarin' sounds great!!

13 Days!

well hope you have a nice day

and would like to add that diner along with it OK now that you asked so how many kinds of Grits would it have ??

have fun in the man cave while the wife spends money for a new Purse I guess that is fair she does not bother you for a few hours and you get cave time :thumbsup2

OMG lol thats all im going to say

Consider it revoked!

You need sometime in the man cave to get it back!

I think I have been lurking long enough and I will take the opposing side on this.

I see this as an extremely manly thing to do. He knew his wife wanted a specific item and to show his love for his spouse, he went and purchased it. What better way of showing he would do anything for his family?

Of course, it still had to be returned, which even more so shows it was a guy thing.

Home today. Team tied at 2 to 2. My assistant coach wanted to be more involved in game strategy, so gave it to him the 2nd half when we were up 2 - 0. They came back and tied. I think he realized this was a little more difficult than he thought. So, I'll take the reins back next week. I did ref 3 other games as well. 5 water bottles and a banana and peanut butter sandwich during the game. I made it through a lot easier today.

I will buy DW flowers, perfume, candy, meal, Kindle, jewelry, and some other terrific gifts over the years, but I will never buy her a purse or clothes. As for returns, dude.

Got my first round of golf in today. First few holes were a little rough, but picked it up in the end.

I just bought new Irons a couple of weeks ago was feeling them out.

Do you golf often? I've played a few times over the years, but mostly just enjoy driving around the course and drink beer. I have my own clubs, but lack a driver.

What happens with the Dads stays with the Dads, unless the tag fairy catches up with you.

The last day I picked up my clubs was my wedding day. Hit a couple of buckets of balls at the range killing time before the ceremony. After that I no longer had time or money.

Yeah, I played more in my single days. I went to the driving range once and they let me borrow a big Bertha driver. I crushed the ball. And, my hook and slice disappeared. They said they would sell it to me for $50, and I should have bought it, but have rarely played that it really didn't matter.

Good night all. Time to ...
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
And leave tomorrow behind

Good Sunday Evening!!

Congrats!

Great job!

Excellent.

Thank you.

I got the MyFitnessPal app on my phone today and took it for a test drive. At first I thought it was lowballing me on the calorie intake. (1770 after I put it all my info and goals) but then I realized that it credits you for any exercise you do. Day one almost in the books and I came in about 100 calories under the mark. not bad.

It's great for keeping of track of things that already have the calories laid out for you on the package. Having to construct your meal for something homemade is a little more work. But the good thing is you can copy a meal from one day to another.
