all I'm going to say is I deserve this !!!!

hope everyone is doing great and enjoyed st. patricks day. I enjoyed it by working for 14 hours.

Hahahaha I only worked 8 but I had to deal with drunks and say Sorry you are drunk cannot sell you Beer and with a smile on my face while they yell at me .

This is the way I look at it, if I don't try I'll never know, If I buy one and lose I'm out $100 and get told I'm sure by my wife I told you so, If I win I'm the smartest guy ever for going against the grain

it is a good 50/50 chance but if you lose it is more like 90/10 in that wife is not going to let you live it down !

Even on weekends when I'm the only one working the drama never ends. If certain people don't get off the power trips and sticking their noses in where it doesn't belong I may have to make a trip to the big city to talk to the Dean. I'm getting too old for this Beverly.

I miss the days when I operated a goon spoon for a pipeline company. $14/hr and 1.5X anything over 40 hours. Good money for a college student and I was too tired to spend any of it.

St. Patrick's Day has come to an end... no work today, so spent the entire day with the wife and kids. The leperchaun escaped DD's very cleverly-laid trap, and played several tricks on us, including giving us all some green hairs! DW was not spared, despite being supposedly 100% italian. The little rascal did leave behind some treats.

DD had dance class, and we all went and got to see a sneak peek of her tap routine to "Judy in Disguise" for her upcoming recital. After that we had lunch and then headed home to relax.

Instead of corn beef and cabbage, our traditional meal is Shepherd's Pie. DS was a sight to see shoveling little handfuls of meat, potatoes, and carrots into his mouth... and hair... and down his shirt... and everywhere else!

also finished making the invitations to DS's upcoming first annual celebration of his escape from DW's womb... also known as his birthday! Now the gears are turning and various plans and schemes are forming on things to do for the party.

very tired and looking forward to another relaxing day off tomorrow. Maybe I'll get some yard work done.

just to add that yesterday I weighed in at 236 lbs, for a loss of 1.5 lbs for week 2.

Starting weight: 240lbs
Week 1: 237.5 (-2.5)
Week 2: 236.0 (-1.5)
Week 3 target: 233 (-3.0)

averaging 2lbs per week so far, so I am on track. Softball is canceled for tomorrow, but I think it is high time to start fitting some exercise in to help things along. Would really love to get down to 230 by the end of this month!!

first i had to make them work for there breakfest by going food shopping , then we went to a local diner that is not a big place a the owner knows everyone it is alot of fun going there . .

I am exhausted just reading that. Way to go DD bouncing back from that goal to score several of her own!! And 5 bottles of water?? 20 oz, or larger?? I'd be running to the bathroom every 15 minutes... lots of "official timeouts"

OK now, I see how helpful you all were in not mentioning the word boat for me.Well after putting in almost40 hrs in the last three days,I am tired and sore.I am now off to cook and serve breakfast at the Elks, then probably head on down to the ball fields to get a few hrs of work in down there. I used to work in a bakery in high school, and would like to add that diner along with it. The menu would be like the one in My Cousin Vinny. I am vested in KY teacher's retirement system. One thing we see from these public debates, if you mess with teachers, who is going to babysit children everyday? So, I do think there is some safety there. I pray.

When I ordered the iPad, my youngest dd (7) asked if she could have my netbook. I told her I would sell it to her. She offered $25 and I said yes. Part of me felt a little guilty, but then, her income is from chore money that I paid, so not so much. She gets my vast IT knowledge, which is really an email to one of you for your IT knowledge.

I just bought my DW a purse yesterday.

It's our anniversary Wednesday, and she wanted a new purse.

Orginally she wanted a MICHE, they are really kinds cool. You buy 1 purse, and put different "shells" on them, so you can have many different styles with a single purse.

I bought that for her, but it turns out the purse itself was a little small.

So we returned it, and I got her a GUESS.
