DW and I got our tax refund yesterday.

Just paid off my truck. It's officially mine.

Afternoon (well almost) guys.

As of today, I've been married 4 years.

And I remembered.

Congrats on the anniversary and avoiding the frying pan upside the head.

Well, I have been busy at work today recalculating our fall break trip. I waitlisted the studio rooms at BLT and have 13 more days until the 7 month mark. We decided not to go to Vero this trip, since we're already doing Hilton Head next month.

So, if the BLT wait list doesn't go thru in 13 more days,then I am to call and rebook the week at another resort. I don't like waiting. I want to have my trip booked so i can start thinking about ADRs and park strategy.

Winter has completely abandoned us down here. This just ain’t normal. Mild winters mean ridiculous amounts of pollen and bumper crops of pest-insects. Lovely…
Worse it’s coaxing all the fruit trees into bloom. If we get a cold snap in March, that crop will be wrecked. Just not normal…

Know what you mean. We are currently getting mosquitos like crazy. And it is February. The land of cow pies/chips looks more inviting.

One thing I love about our anniversary being 2/23 is the fact that I'm pretty much off the hook for about 10 months. We get Christmas, DW's Birthday, Valentine's Day and our Anniversary in a 2 month window, so I don't have to worry about anything the rest of the year.

I'd love to but Im not up there that often.

My daughter is on a Synchronized Figure Skating team (Team Image, for anyone who actually knows what that is) and we travel to different competitions which brings us past New Haven, Meriden, Stamford, etc. Two weeks ago we were in Hamden, CT and last month we were in Lowell, Mass. We are always looking for places to stop and eat on the way and that's how these names of lunch places came up.

We'll figure something out, perhaps a Yankee game later this year. My office tickets should be available!!
