Has anyone tried Cloudem - Blue?

Sorry to bump an older post, but I have a quick question. I’d like to order this for someone on an upcoming cruise. The website says it can be delivered to dinner or to the room for $20 plus tip. If I have it sent to dinner, will I also have to pay a corkage fee? Or can I just order a bottle directly from the waiter?

If you order it for delivery to dinner the waiter will know and simply being it out on the night you requested (they typically check with me the night before or the first night of the cruise to confirm which night we want the bottle delivered so any "surprise" might be ruined).

There is no added corkage charge.

The first time we encountered Cloudem Blue was at a DVC Members function on one of the cruises, as they served this to everyone, and when I asked where they got it, they gave me the name. I was super bummed to find out Cloudem isn't available in the US.

...so I may have ordered a few extra bottles on my last cruise to take home with me. ;-)

As an update we did end up ordering this for a special occasion recently. The taste was pretty good, better than a Martinelle's sparkling cider. When we poured our glasses didn't seem to sparkle much though. We didn't realize we were supposed to shake up the bottle to mix the sparkles until we were 2/3rd finished with it and noticed all the shiny stuff at floating at the bottom. Normally I wouldn't shake a bottle of anything so it never occurred to me. The blue color was fun in itself though.
My niece did the same thing.
So when my brother & SIL sailed DCL for the first time, I had it sent to their stateroom and put on the note "Shake it up!" My SIL loves everything sparkley so she enjoyed it.

Also, you can request Cloudem instead of the prosecco for the platinum stateroom gift. We take it to the dining room with the glasses provided. We have never been charged a corkage fee. We just tell them it was our stateroom gift. The kids love the taste and that it is fun!

This is good to know, thanks!
