That would be pretty funny, although I am not sure how Nate would feel about that. His nemesis is probably texting FED right now :lmao:

Morning folks...

Today is FASTPASS ENFORCEMENT - DAY 1!

Wonder how that'll go...

FP Enforcement Ownage

this should be fun to monitor. I had just learned that you didn't have to come back within the time window. So nothing new with this enforcement for me.:lmao:

FP Story...During our Keys to the Kingdom Tour I found a Peter Pan FP in Fronterland...The return time was for around 4pm...well later that Night we made our way to Fantasyland and I went to the FP Castmember and told them I found the single FP...he looked at me and DS...and said...just you 2...go on in. :thumbsup2

I was just giving the guy a FP...I didn't ask to be let in...he just let us go. :cool1:

Morning guys.

Though, with the speed of these boards today, this may not post for a few hours, in which case, good afternoon. :thumbsup2

MK Monorail is DOWN!

Big Line at the Ferry....

per tweet by Stitch Kingdom!

Hope it's all fixed for me in.....

24 Days!

Then this is certainly going to ruin your day....

Disney Announces Temporary Daytime Monorail Closures

Also reported by wdwinfo.com:

Change in hours for Walt Disney World monorail

Yeah - saw that already....

Hope it's fixed before we get there. Although, with where we are staying, it only effects us on our days we go to EPCOT or Dinners we have on monorail resorts.

The MK monorail being down this morning is a totally different issue. It's not supposed to be down this early. I hope they can get it fixed!

Whoa - I think I just saw this same response somewhere else! :rotfl2:

Good Morning, Gang!

This day keeps dragggggginggggg right along. :headache: Going to see a chiropractor for the first time in a long time. Time to get the neck straightened out. :cool1:

So, how's the neck feeling?

Good afternoon fellas. The thermometer has yoyo'd in the right direction and it's about 60 degrees out now. Went out and got some fresh air at lunch time. Really didn't want to come back to the office.

I am picking up my variable BiPAP machine this afternoon so hopefully I can start getting good sleep. Which should lead to more energy to exercise, blech!

Getting that nice weather here now. How'd you sleep?

Hi Guys, it is gorgeous outside!!! This week in Indy will see mostly high 50's and low 60's :thumbsup2\

Friendly reminder that daylight savings starts this Sunday.

Daylight Saving = leaving work an hour later each night.

For those that may not have seen it in my TR or on the Other Forum...

Enjoyed the video. First time watching the show. Looks like you have to get close to the castle if you want to see the pictures and video?? I loved the end when the projected fireworks lined up with the actual fireworks shooting across. That was impressive!

Forgot that Crash's Lacrosse team was playing the best team in the league. Was 2-1 for a while and then they got killed. She had two shots which she missed. She did get tripped by another kid and took a header into the ground. Looked really good. Shook it off after a few seconds and stayed in the game. After the game she told me she fell so hard she, "Dented the ground." Side of her face was covered with dirt and had a cut on her knee.

Hope she's feeling okay. IME it's always worse the day or so after.

BLT October trip plannin ownage.

The trip is booked. Now to plan the week.

Sat - Arrive 6:00 AM - 1900 Park Fare Breakfast; 6:00 PM Mass; 7:30 PM - Cali Grill Dinner

Monday - Lunch - Wave; MNSSHP
Tuesday - MNSSHP; CP 4:30 PM
Wednesday - WHW; ESPN Club to follow
Thursday -Epcot - 8:00 AM Akershus; Dinner - TBDACA (to be determined after continued argument)
Friday - Lunch - RFC at AK

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Back in the office for a little peace and quiet and to try and get caught up on some projects before it all hits the fan again. I know why people keep scotch in their desks now.

Took DS to the MD yesterday. He has a URI that has been hanging on forever and he can't shake it. The pediatrician was good though.

DW is down with bronchitis. Married almost 17 years and she has had 14 or 15 rounds of it in that time. I know she is desperate though because she even agreed to see the nurser practitioner here tomorrow just to get her antibiotic script rather than wait a month to see her GP in Ohio.

Delivered a bunch of Girl Scout cookies after school with the skitterbug. We went to one house that she and her mom had visited selling and it was interesting. The lady of the house opened the door and invited us in. Didn't speak much English and had me talk with her husband. He paid for the three boxes. He said he always likes to support kids that are selling things. I was thinking the house was rather sparse and when we left my daughter said, "That was the house, but those people weren't living there when we took the order" I hope they like the three varieties the other people ordered. :rotfl2:
By then it was dark and so DS and I finished off his pinewood derby car. It was good spending time with the kids but I still haven't been able to get them to realize yet that extracurricular activities are just that. The regular work still needs to get done which is why I am back in the office trying to get enough motivation to review a couple of publications.

Hope DS and DW feel better soon. you should go back to the house to "give them their receipt" just to see if it's the same people or not.

For dinner tonight I made some interesting burgers, it was a burger with cheese but instead of bacon I replaced it with Pork Roll:cool1: It was AWESOME:thumbsup2, I think it's called a Jersey Burger, but I did not include a fried egg:confused3

sounds yummy!

I wonder who's going to get the first DISDad tattoo...

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bueller????

Would it count if all I did was work the letters "DDC" and my number into it somewhere?? Not really planning on getting a tattoo, but if I were to get one, I might go with something like my avatar.

Just posting to check in.

89 days till June 3rd!:woohoo:

We've got a Boma reservation, but Animal Kingdom Lodge is so far away from Art & Animation, I kind of want to dump it.

We are going to try 'Ohana, though.

In theory.

did Boma for the first time last trip (dinner). Really enjoyed it. So looking forward to Ohana again (breakfast) this upcoming trip. Salivating over those potatoes just thinking about it.

Brian, I don't know about you but I'm having a tough time even trying to plan out a park day, for me it is way too early with so many new things that may be in play by the time we go:confused3, One thing I'm looking for is the Be Our Guest Restaurant, I hope it will be open by the time we go, I have left a couple days of ressies open just in case:rolleyes1

Would love to get to see some soft openings of things in early August. not going to plan for it though.

Morning folks...

Today is FASTPASS ENFORCEMENT - DAY 1!

Wonder how that'll go...

FP Enforcement Ownage

picturing LGMs guarding the Buzz and SM return lines... Army Men at TSM... but who would patrol Soarin' and Everest?

FP Story...During our Keys to the Kingdom Tour I found a Peter Pan FP in Fronterland...The return time was for around 4pm...well later that Night we made our way to Fantasyland and I went to the FP Castmember and told them I found the single FP...he looked at me and DS...and said...just you 2...go on in. :thumbsup2

I was just giving the guy a FP...I didn't ask to be let in...he just let us go. :cool1:

Back before I knew the "policy", I had fastpasses for RNRC and missed the window. So we concocted this story to give to the CM when we got there to see if we could still get into the FP line... all that planning and scheming... and the CM just waved us through without giving us a chance to say anything. :rotfl2:

Our first attempt at TSM, we missed out on FPs because we didn't go there first thing. Line was outrageous all day long. During lunch, it was pouring rain and I told DW I had a plan. I was going to go get FPs for another ride, then get them all wet to the point you couldn't read them anymore, and then try to tell the CM that we got caught in the rain and our FPs were ruined. DW considered it for a moment, but said no. :confused3

We are heading down and are not going to the parks on our first day. Any recommendations for a good reasonable dinner that doesn't require park entry? Thought about DD, but not sure if we'll venture down there or not.

Thanks!

Good Morning, Gang!

Soarin' - Goofy dressed as a TSA Agent

Everest - Get a scaled down version of the Yeti (preferably a working one) that will knock whoever is holding an expired FP off into the bushes.

You have a very devious mind. That is a good thing. :rotfl2:

I was going to say, how scary would a Fastpass Enforcement Yeti be that just stands there lit up by a strobe light?:rolleyes1
