I was going to say, how scary would a Fastpass Enforcement Yeti be that just stands there lit up by a strobe light?:rolleyes1

Maybe they give you a sign to wear saying you violated the code and experienced Disney vets can mock yu all day.....just sayin :rolleyes1

Hey Peyton, Miami is a nice place to live. You already have a home down here, why not come on down?

Getting that nice weather here now. How'd you sleep?

Well...the good news is that it's still nice here today. Supposed to be 68.

It's going to take some getting used to. I tried for about 45 minutes without any luck falling asleep so I took the mask off. Will try again tonight.

If anyone is thinking of what to get me for my birthday in May, this thing sure looks cool: http://hottubboats.com/photos/

It took DW awhile to get used to it.

Would it count if all I did was work the letters "DDC" and my number into it somewhere?? Not really planning on getting a tattoo, but if I were to get one, I might go with something like my avatar.

I'd totally get a DDC tattoo with my membership #. It's the cost issue for me. If I had free or discount tattoo access, I would get lots of them.

We are heading down and are not going to the parks on our first day. Any recommendations for a good reasonable dinner that doesn't require park entry? Thought about DD, but not sure if we'll venture down there or not.!

When you mention "reasonable", are you referring to cost? Fulton's Crab House is our favorite in DTD and a must do for most all trips. But, it is signature prices. Earl of Sandwich is a great QS in DTD and lower prices. My favorite place, and one of the cheaper ones, is to go to Boardwalk and go to ESPN Club. Park free at DTD and ride the bus to Boardwalk. The food is great, lower prices, draft beer my the pitchers, and TV screens everywhere.

Just wondering how many of you check to see if you have a PM when you log onto DIS?

Everytime I log in. There's an area right under your name.

So, how's the neck feeling?

Well... I just got back from a 1-on-1 office visit with the chiro doc. He showed me the xrays of my back and neck. According to what he said, I'm in pretty bad shape. Probably take about a year or so to get my spine in a "normal" condition. Tell you what though... he cracked my neck yesterday and it sounded like a gun went off! And had immediate relief! :cool1: Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover any chiropractic services :headache: Not sure I am willing to dish out that kind of money yet for his services.

Wonder how much of the monorail closure is due to needed upgrades, and how much is due to the new GF DVC construction? :confused3

Would expect they'd shut down the Epcot line of the monorail too if it was mostly maintenance...

The resort allegedly opens May 31, and we check in on June 3rd. So we're Possibly going to be the first people in our room. Meaning we'll be able to christen it by kids throwing up on the carpet or peeing in the bed. :rolleyes1!

You must feel so proud. Ahhh, the memories. :rotfl:

We've got a Boma reservation, but Animal Kingdom Lodge is so far away from Art & Animation, I kind of want to dump it..

We usually pick dining where we are located - my Commando rule - that we don't lost park time or resort time to transportation time.

I've never dented Astroturf before. I have had several concussions, though. You start stringing to many of them together and it really affects your memory. Did I ever tell you about the time I dented some Astroturf??

It's déjà vu all over again.

Hey guys....just checking in.

This class I'm in is killing me...they actually expect me to work:rotfl2::

What? Don't they realize you're a government employee? :lmao: Time to go hide in the bunker.

DW is down with bronchitis. .

Prayers for quick recovery.

I wonder who's going to get the first DISDad tattoo...

Anyone?????

You pay for it. I'll get it.

Was ready to charge the field if she didn't get up. Just to see if she was OK. She would have taken out the other kid if needed..

As the coach, I blew up at the other team's coach when a player pushed my daughter to the ground. It wasn't pretty. Thankfully, I didn't attack the player or the coach (this time).

Awesome! I'll be at BLT through Oct 3. Can't wait!
If you're staying around Epcot for dinner on Thursday, I'm throwing a vote in for Via Napoli. Not sure that I have a vote, but that place is my new favorite at Epcot. You won't be disappointed... :thumbsup2

I'll miss you by a few days. I think we decided on Napoli. I agree, it is a really good place. My goal was to eat my way around Epcot, but DW is not that adventure some - (she ruled out France and Mexico). So, a return trip to Napoli is good, but I was just hoping to try something new.

Chili cook-off in 30 minutes. Getting psyched. I've given out a few samples and have had good responses so far.

Yes, in one of the new suites. (so none of the discounts apply).

Super-excited, though!

I didn't realize that your kids were college aged. :lmao:

SO what did you decide to call it? The Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster?:lmao:

I went with Great Bowls of Fire. Apparently it doesn't matter what I call it because once again I failed to make the podium. I came in 3rd and only 1st and 2nd get prizes.:headache:

Anyone else excited about the new iPad? I've been holding out since Christmas knowing that they would be launching a new version in the 1st quarter. They came through with the 3 things that I was hoping for with the retina display, improved camera, and quad core processor. I'd be excited about the 4G too but I am just going with the wifi version.
