Forgot that Crash's Lacrosse team was playing the best team in the league. Was 2-1 for a while and then they got killed. She had two shots which she missed. She did get tripped by another kid and took a header into the ground. Looked really good. Shook it off after a few seconds and stayed in the game. After the game she told me she fell so hard she, "Dented the ground." Side of her face was covered with dirt and had a cut on her knee.

So are you picking up your nemesis on the way down? :rotfl2:

:lmao:
That would necessitate me driving, so probably not...

But if I can convince the Delta (or Jet Blue) pilot to divert the flight to MCO and use Ryan's driveway as a runway, then yes, yes I am. :thumbsup2

Figuring out if the budget will allow her to come, if she wants to come or if you want her to come? :confused3 :

We have never hit our Disney budget. NEVER. I keep adding to it each year, and each year, we overspend. It is not pretty.

She's torn on leaving the kids. We've never (NEVER) left our kids for more than an overnight. And the overnight only happened once! :rotfl2:

We left the children with my parents in Louisville for a overnight 10 year anniversary trip. We stayed in a hotel 15 minutes. While I travel frequently and DW has an occasional out of town meeting, that was the only time and we both worried about.

but this year she wanted to do Oct. so DD could experience MNSSHP, and we could do food an wine. :

When are you going?

My membership card says 2008. We bought at Saratoga Springs.

My membership card says 2008. I own at SSR. Wait a minute .......

Yikes. Were you ready to charge the field and kick the other player's Beverly?

I am picking up my variable BiPAP machine this afternoon so hopefully I can start getting good sleep. Which should lead to more energy to exercise, blech!

Sweet dreams.

Hi Guys, it is gorgeous outside!!! This week in Indy will see mostly high 50's and low 60's :thumbsup2\

Friendly reminder that daylight savings starts this Sunday.

Dave, sorry to hear the news. Press conference is Thursday. Goodbye Mr. Manning. But, you can still draft him next year.

Denting the ground is impressive. Denting Astroturf with concrete underneath is even more impressive.
Hope she's OK. With all the concussion talk going around you never can be too careful.

Now that you mention it, I've never seen both of us in the same room at the same time...

Hey guys....just checking in.

This class I'm in is killing me...they actually expect me to work:rotfl2:

Nate...it' has been recommended that I handcuff you next time for realism:lmao:

Back in the office for a little peace and quiet and to try and get caught up on some projects before it all hits the fan again. I know why people keep scotch in their desks now.

Took DS to the MD yesterday. He has a URI that has been hanging on forever and he can't shake it. The pediatrician was good though.

DW is down with bronchitis. Married almost 17 years and she has had 14 or 15 rounds of it in that time. I know she is desperate though because she even agreed to see the nurser practitioner here tomorrow just to get her antibiotic script rather than wait a month to see her GP in Ohio.

Delivered a bunch of Girl Scout cookies after school with the skitterbug. We went to one house that she and her mom had visited selling and it was interesting. The lady of the house opened the door and invited us in. Didn't speak much English and had me talk with her husband. He paid for the three boxes. He said he always likes to support kids that are selling things. I was thinking the house was rather sparse and when we left my daughter said, "That was the house, but those people weren't living there when we took the order" I hope they like the three varieties the other people ordered. :rotfl2:
By then it was dark and so DS and I finished off his pinewood derby car. It was good spending time with the kids but I still haven't been able to get them to realize yet that extracurricular activities are just that. The regular work still needs to get done which is why I am back in the office trying to get enough motivation to review a couple of publications.

For dinner tonight I made some interesting burgers, it was a burger with cheese but instead of bacon I replaced it with Pork Roll:cool1: It was AWESOME:thumbsup2, I think it's called a Jersey Burger, but I did not include a fried egg:confused3

Sometimes you need those quiet hours to get caught up with work, during the day I find "work interferes with my work"?

Prayers being sent for DW.

And Cookies and Cars... A model DISDad... good job. :thumbsup2

I'm in the same boat, except 3 tattoos. I wanna get another, but DW won't let me. :lmao:

I made sure that they'd be tattoos that I'd be happy with for the rest of my life, though (didn't happen on a bender or anything :lmao: ). They're to remind me of one of the best years of my life, the year I spent in Japan as a university student and joined a traditional Japanese drum group.

On my left arm is my first tattoo. It translates to "One lifetime, one meeting." On my right arm is the name of the drum group, Wadaiko Raku.

I added the symbol a few months before I came to Korea. It's the same symbol that's on the back of the drum group's uniform:

If I were to get another tat, it would be a fun one. I've always wanted to get this one...perhaps on my left forearm.

Nice stache Casey!

Yikes. Were you ready to charge the field and kick the other player's Beverly?

Was ready to charge the field if she didn't get up. Just to see if she was OK. She would have taken out the other kid if needed.

Denting the ground is impressive. Denting Astroturf with concrete underneath is even more impressive.

True statement. Do you know from experience?

She is going to get checked out by the school's trainer tomorrow. Not too worried about a concussion but her knees are hurting.

Fed doesn't need handcuffs...he just stares criminals into submission.

Awesome! I'll be at BLT through Oct 3. Can't wait!

If you're staying around Epcot for dinner on Thursday, I'm throwing a vote in for Via Napoli. Not sure that I have a vote, but that place is my new favorite at Epcot. You won't be disappointed... :thumbsup2
