I called the airline last night around 1:00 am and managed to get our seats together going both ways. I was a little worried about that because when i booked all i could get was 3 in a row 20b, 21b, 22b we were all in different rows. DD would have had a fit.:scared1:

I took a cue from Tim and went to Party City and bought glow stix, and a few glow wands which we are taking with us. DD will love them and they were $0.99 not $5.00 like in the parks. Thanks for the idea Tim. By the way Tim, DD still remembers you giving her glow stix.:thumbsup2

That is the kiss of death for the Giants, I picked the loser in every playoff game this year.:rotfl: Seriously every game.

I thought having a conversation with myself would be more theraputic than this.:rotfl:

Baby feeding time.:sad2: Oh sleep I miss you.
Just did Christopher's feeding. His sleeping has gotten much better the last few days.

I am half expecting Tim to show up any second, for his feeding time shift.
:wave2:

This is the two of us goofing off yesterday.:thumbsup2

You have to buy them ahead of time. ::yes:: :goodvibes

I buy them by the case for work. I get the multi-colored bracelets 100 in a tube for $6.

Your DD is too cute!!!! I'd give her more if we ever meet up again! ;) :goodvibes:goodvibes

Go Giants!
Yes! Go Giants!!!!

Morning, Guys! Can't possibly catch up, but cute picture, Christian! Nice use of the rent is too high guy, Paul!

Busy few days, here. On Thursday, my 91 year old grandmother went into hospice. She should have done this literally 2 years ago (when they started doing things "to her" rather than "for her"), but I'm at least glad she's focusing on comfort care now. So I spend the morning with her on Friday

On Saturday, we had our pinewood derby. Those scout leaders here know what a logistic challenge that is to organize plus the stress of your own kids. Only 3 crying tiger scouts this year, so not too bad. I talked to all of them (which no one did when my kids were in the same situation) & showed them my sons horrible first car (which made them feel better)

Molly and Dan both got second in their respective divisions (Webelos 2 & Ultimate). Plus Dan did EVERYTHING for his car, so I was very proud. And Molly and I learned some electrical engineering building a fan jet for the back of her car. Very cool!

But on Friday night, Molly was fooling around and feel off the couch hitting her wrist. She was still complaining of pain (although really not too bad) on Saturday, so after the pinewood I took her to the ER & yep, it was broken. Fortunately, they're doing removable splints for this minor distal forearm fractures, and hoping for no cast!

:wave2: Chris...

Wow, lot's going on with.

Grandmother - It's always tough watching a close family member go through this. My wifes stepmother went passed away in palative care about 5 years ago, and it's a real emotional roller coaster on the patient and family.
Good Luck :grouphug:

Scouting - Chris you really are an excellent and involved role model on these kids, and the parents don't know ow lucky they are to have you around.

Horseplay on the couch - Hope she's doing alright now. Just a dumb question - why'd ya wait a day? :confused3

Oh and Morning all other dad's...

Going to pick up my DD who spent the night with her Girl Guide group at Reptilia.

Morning guys :)

Christian, your son is adorable :thumbsup2

Rough night last night, hoping to get some rest today so I can watch the Giants stomp the Pats into the turf :cool1:

Good Morning Men!

Chris I hope Molly mends quickly!

Christian, cute picture. :thumbsup2

David? David? David?

But the rent's still too damned high!

It is!!!! :thumbsup2

Sounds like life is getting busy Chris! sorry to hear about Molly's wrist, hopefully it heals up quickly. Great to hear about the pinewood derby. I loved that back in the day, and can't wait until my kids are old enough to do it. :thumbsup2

Thanks, Brian!

It wasn't swollen & kind of an all over tenderness, rather than a specific point. Plus the painwas really minor (but persistent) & the mechanism of injury was very minor as well. (which is I guess why she got the splint not the cast!) Neither DW or I can believe she broke it!

I think I caught the tail end...but here goes..

Which would you ride - if you could only choose one?

Space Mountain or Splash Mountain?

I would say Splash Mountain at WDW - Space Mountain at DL (I way prefer DL's Space to the MK's - much smoother + there's music!)

Space Mountain. But in a "mood" I might switch that.

Where would you eat?

Cosmic Ray's or Pecos Bill's?

I would choose Pecos Bill's.

Pecos

Where would you rather sleep?

Port Orleans Riverside - or - POP Century?

I'd say Port Orleans.

POR...hands down.

Where would you go if you could only go to one of them?

Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios?

I think I'd go to the MK.

Magic Kingdom..by a landslide.

Which would you rather enjoy - again, if you could only do one?

A round of mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens, or a lift up in the Characters in Flight balloon?

I'd take the Balloon.

Balloon!

Which would you rather enjoy?

Expedition Everest or Kali River Rapids

I'd take Everest.

Everest.

50's Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Dine in Theatre?

This is hard, I love them both, but I'd probably go with 50s Prime Time.

50's.

Who do you like more?

Minnie Mouse or Daisy Duck?

I'm partial to Minnie, myself.

Yeah, Minnie.

Which is your preferred option?

Extra Magic Hours Morning or Extra Magic Hours Evening?

I'll take Morning, myself.

Evening. I love the parks at night.

The monorail or the ferry to the MK?

I like them both. Most often when I've been faced with that choice I would say ferry.

Monorail

Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach?

Typhoon Lagoon for me when solo - Blizzard Beach when with the family.

Haven't been to either...so no choice.

Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean?

Haunted Mansion - definitely.

Haunted Mansion.
