I just noticed your bottom signature. Are you trying to make this thread move along faster?

That was not the intention, but it could possibly be having that effect? :confused3

I broke her!!! That's right DW could not fight it anymore and gave in to my need to go to WDW! Flight is booked, DVC points used, we are leaving in about 2 weeks!

Congrats!! Way to beat her into submission! :thumbsup2

Thanks I can't wait. I have done Disney with a 6 month old a while back, but Disney with a 3.5 yo and adding 4 month old will bring a whole new set of challenges.:scared1:

Youngest I've gone with is 14 months. Rider swap is crucial here, as are strollers. You should still be able to get lots in and done though. The 3.5 yr old WILL remember this trip. Audrey still goes on about it and sings the Halloween stuff fronm the MNSSHP and she was 2.5 around that time.

Yeah but they beat the Islanders.

That team is more messed up than a dryer full of drunk monkeys.

I'd be pretty damn upset if they lost to the Islanders. These are the teams they must beat consistantly

No idea. He's listed with "concussion-like symptoms" so there is no timetable for that :confused3 So many concussions nowadays...

Yeah. Probably going to end Crosby's career sooner than later.

Ended the Lindros' brothers careers.

Funny true story. A friend of mine was a great player in high school and an 8th or 9th round draft pick but never made it to the NHL. He played in the OHL after he was drafted. He was about 6' 2" 220. I saw him years later at a party and I asked him when he knew he wasn't going to make it to the NHL. His response, "When Eric Lindros knocked me out with one punch."

They could replace a lot of those with " you should probably just fly"

Yes it does.:rotfl:

No she wanted to go as bad as I did. She just also wanted home improvements. Looks like I'll be doing the work instead of hiring someone.:thumbsup2

So you get a trip and you get a chance to flex some mad man skilz. Sounds good. I'm sure it'll be a great trip.

I went to school with former NHLer Grant Marshall although I really couldn;t place him, younger grade. A guy I went to High School with played was on Eric Lindros's team when they were younger players. My next door neighbor got as far as drafted in the OHL by Sudbury. but it didn't pan out.

Apperently my uncle (mom's side) played in the Blackhawks organization, but that was before I was around. The big sports for my family as I grew up were soccer, curling and lawn bowling, my maternal grandfather was VERY in these sports. He basicly played pro soccer in his early years.

These are my brushes with sport :lmao:

There IS a Disney connection to this, one day I hope and pray I can post here. My mom has brought this up due to my love of Disney. Somehow lost over time from the old Port Credit Lawn Bowling club is a photo of my grandfather lawnbowling with Walt Disney himself. If only it could be found!

Morning guys,

Up early today but not by choice. Only thing on the agenda is to get her off to school and present a check with the Half Marathon running, Pirate Princess later today. Still don't know the final total but it is around $300 for the charity.

Hope everyone has a great day today.

Job update:

Never got the follow-up from the guy in charge. But I did get an email with my timesheet and instructions for filling it out and submitting it. I was told to show up tomorrow. I am still waiting to hear what floor/studio they are operating out of. I'll get there early and search them all if I have to.

Good luck :thumbsup2

It was the water boarding that made the difference.

Interesting, now where did I put my big bucket :lmao:

Morning CJ and gang. Sorry I have not been on as much. Very busy time at work.

Just got home from seeing Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in 3D.

Quite enjoyable. Luis Guzman was hilarious in his role. The character of Sean was kind of annoying at times. I think they tried to force the whole "step-son/step-father" dynamic. It wasn't really needed. The 3D effects were well done. In fact, DW and I both agree that it would be very fun in 4D. I know that are a few theaters that do 4D movies, and if it's available, I would recommend it.

Overall, it would be a very fun movie to see with the family. There are a few jump-out spots, as well as a few scenes with some creepy crawlies, but not too many to bother the younger ones, I imagine. I give it :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 two thumbs.

Movie review Ownage!

Hmm...looks like I'm gonna have to whip up something special in the near future...:scratchin

Hello everyone. I was told this thread is the place to be. Thanks for having me. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Thanks for the welcomes. No, I'm not from Canada. I live in Bethelehem, PA. As for dues, anyone is more than welcome to drop by for a beer.

Hope that covers it, cause the rest of the money is going towards my Disney trip and buying a house.

Nice! Nazareth school district is a big draw for us as we look for a house.

We are going this October 14-20 and staying at a studio in AKR.

Welcome! Looks like you already met the guys and are settling in nicely. You are member # 678! :thumbsup2

:welcome: WELCOME TO THE DIS DAD'S CLUB! :welcome:

You have been added to the DIS Dad's Club list :thumbsup2

It was the water boarding that made the difference.

I see you took my suggestion...;):lmao:

Ummm you might want to refer back to the post earlier about as a married guy arguing with the only person that you can get "some" from. I'm pretty sure waterboarding = arguing = not gonna get any, anytime soon.

Yeah, there's a side effect for everyting...:confused3

Oh don't I wish....I have a solution though...my truck is being retrofitted to these specifications:
