As I've gone through household stuff that gets put away each November when the Christmas stuff comes out (framed pictures, knick-knack crap, you know - dust collectors) - putting the regular stuff back now - we have a lot of framed pictures that include some sort of Disney destination. Fancy that.

I'm so excited about Carsland. Can't wait to experience it for myself after it opens. The tour I got of the under-construction site last fall was incredible. It just looks so cool.

When will you all (at least those who've never been or live east of California) be heading west to experience the DLR? I know it's on several of your bucket lists... you've gotta do it. Really.

Arrive 7-8 and leave 7-13. Psyched for Carsland, WoC, Pirates, Haunted Mansion... Went once for a couple of days when DD was about 18 months. Her first coaster was the Matterhorn. Can't wait.

100% real... and no, I don't play Stairway - as i don't know how. But a friend of mine did.

I will post a pic of it later today.

And to prove that it is mine, and I didn't Google the pic, anyone have a request to see in the pic (obviously I can hold it) but I will still take requests... (that don't harm my guitar).

My son does.

He played "Knockin on Heaven's Door" at his guitar recital in the fall.

He has 2 different electrics, and 2 acoustics. We got him a cool wall mount for his room for Christmas - well, actually I ordered it, but it was from my mom who paid for it. I'm thankful that we have a Guitar Center not too far away. He loves going there, and practically drools over the stuff they have for sale. For his birthday we're getting him a pretty fancy pedal & board that he's been wanting for a while.

When I first saw it back in '88 or '89, I was a bit frightened by the villain. When I saw it last January, I was nostalgic (and was more concerned about DW's reaction, who was experiencing WDW for the first time and is a Michael Jackson fan). Thought it was cheesy, but enjoyable (if horribly outdated).

Well OK then. Take an evening off and you miss a thread closing.

Girls had their second skating lesson today and they are doing really well. Mary only fell twice in the 45 minutes, Shannon fell a few more times and Megan fell quite often, but everyone got up smiling each time. Success all around.

We've got the Daddy daughter dance tonight and we're meeting some friends for dinner before that. Should be a fun night. Megan is still too young for this so she gets some 1 on 1 time with Mom (and Perry).

Happy Saturday! I'm ticked that I have to go to a wedding at 4:30. Got to admit, I was happy to see the Niners step up this year. Always respect a team that can win withplayers who haven't been given much respect over the years. Its just a shame that I won't be able to see Drew take them down.

I have an Upwards Basketball game today and birthday party tomorrow. I love my children very much. Who thought of having a birthday and basketball during the NFL playoffs? And, I do miss the Jim Mora Playoffs commercial, but I have it on my phone for quick reference.

Morning Dave. Check out our new stats. I am winning head to head matchups, but you have overall post lead.

Well I made my reservations for BLT one bedroom villa. Did all the research. Watched videos posted by YouTube members. Checked out all the amenities. Subscribed to the FAQ for CR and then was accosted by my wife and teens. "WE WANT TO STAY AT THE POLY AGAIN"! If I wanted to live to see another day, I had to make yet another phone call and listen to the "are you sure you want to change your resort" from the WDW Travel.

We had a great time at BLT. Poly looks great, but that 5 minute walk to the MK and TOTWL were great.

First M - MK day - Ohana's (d)
T - Epcot - Les Chefs de France (l) Captain's Grill (d)
W - HS - Hollywood Brown Derby / Fantasmic Pkg (d)
T - MK / Epcot(?) - Crystal Palance (l), Tokyo Dining (d)
F - AK - Tusker (l).

I have yet to try Chefs de France. DW does not want to chance it. Been to all the others. Excellent choices. My only $.02 is that I'm not a fan of travel time for my ADR(s) and I don't do Park Hoppers.

What's on your agenda today?

We returned the house to its non-Christmas state. The kids were disappointed because they like it with all the decorations and lights. I would have been willing to sacrifice and not spend the day lugging stuff up 2 flights of stairs to the attic but DW doesn't want to be one of those families with there Christmas lights up in July.

DW and I were talking last night about when our next WDW trip will be. That was fun, as with so many other things going on in the past few months, we have not really talked about it. We had cancelled several trips, but now it's finally time to start planning again.

We started talking about our next one too. Hey I've been home like 5 days it's way past due. Looks like we'll do a short trip for EE challenge in May, and then a family trip with DW's SIL and here family in either Sept or Dec. It'll be there first trip and they have 2 young kids so we'll probably stay at the Contemporary or BLT, unless finances put us in a moderate.

Random rental car tip. I'm not sure what the other companies give, but Alamo gave us 2 StarTours passports with our rental paperwork. Make sure you look through all the stuff companies give you down there as there might be some cool Mickey stuff.

Did I ever tell you that she met MJ? Yep, she did. I can't remember which function he showed up for at the LACounty Music Center - but she did.

We had a lot of fun working there. I met Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Hanks, Stephen Speilberg, George Lucas, Marissa Tomei, and others. DW even refused Tom Cruise entry into the Governor's Ball at the Academy Awards one year. It was hilarious.
