:headache:. Some people just don't appreciate the finer things in life like IASW.

I enjoy it and would rather spend an day there than afternoon in the office. :rotfl:

...

I'm really stuck on this one. Do we force a trip in Oct. because we both want to go, or do we buck up and hold out until Summer 2013 when D(x) will be 1yo, or in wife speak, 14mo?

Any comments and experiences with both 5mo and 14-16mo babies at WDW welcomed, along with unrelated banter to up one's post count.

Help me DisDads. Yinz are my only hope.

Cheers,
Indy

DS took his first and only plane ride on his first trip to WDW at 18 months. He loved all of it. At that age they have fun and you have fun with them.

The baby stage was mostly a blur especially the first 6 months as we were so sleep deprive. At 5 months I imagine most of the fun would be on your part assuming you can stay awake.

Well it is still morning ...sooo.....Good Morning....time to head in for another late shift and call night!!! Good Lord I hope that my co worker wants to make some extra cash again and take my call tonight...especially so I can be home to watch Marshall and WVU play basketball at 8pm!!! This is the first time in many years that I have not gone to THAT game!!!! I am going to have withdraws near tipoff time!!:scared1:

Good evening gentelmen, (and I use that term loosely). It looks like the the newest member of the Hill clan will be making his first trip to WDW Feb 11 - 15. We were not planning on going until November but I began jonesing hard. Anyone there those dates?:thumbsup2
chilllllll !!! :thumbsup2
BTW...They DO NOT teach cross draw at Glynco (Gleenco) as was just noted on Justified...by Marshal Raylan

Ok, I'll shut up now:lmao::lmao:
geez fed, your getting like me. what are you talking about.:lmao:
The worst I heard was waiting for the Norway movie to start, when a boy came in and sat close to us, waiting for the show to start. His dad came and got him and said he didn't need to watch "propaganda". DW and I walked around Epcot making propoganda jokes the rest of the day.

Trying to remember my single days. That was way too much work.

:worship:

But now you will have the arts after its built! Grand Floridian isn't my cup if tea either! It seems you would have to walk around like this :snooty: Not me!
propoganda??? boring yes, propoganda, no.:lmao:

Ohhhhh the money they spend just to get from the white house to Dulles is ludicrous! It's a 20 min drive.. Or a $100000 helicopter ride if your mr Obama! I wonder if they will fly both AF 1 and all four helicopters to Orlando airport? Then take the magical express to Pop.. :rotfl2:
its all that money we pay federal agents to go fishing. they can even afford spinners on there boat trailers. popcorn:: (wait for it, fed will be along soon):lmao:
It's what we call here - just another night. :rotfl2:
i thought that game was invented by the canadians???? :confused3

Not surprised. :sad2:

"Let me be clear"...when speaking (typing) things political...you must choose your words carefully.

Naaa.

was playing angry birds with my son last night, seems like you always need just 1 more bird:lmao:

alwys use the tops,the bottoms have the veins sticking up :rotfl2:
I am in a tough situation here I always want my div to win if possible if not I want my conference to win. I hate Patsies and Ravens are well you know the Ravens. Oh what to do:confused3

I am going through the same thing. Life long Steeler fan. I hate the Pats, I hate the Ravens players but I respect them as a team. If the Ravens win the SB it will make beating them twice next year so much sweeter. What alarms me more is that San Fran may win the SB and tie Pittsburgh with 6 SB wins.:eek:

Anybody have any experience with Enterprise or Hertz car renting? Thoughts?

TL

I have used both but in the last few years have switched to Alamo. I can do online check-in. We get off the plane get our bags and head right to the parking stucture pick a car and dive to the exit. You spend about 2 minutes at the exit and you are on the road. I love it!:love:

:dance3::dancer::dogdance::banana:

I got a reprieve! I am working on my companies budget for our nest fiscal year. My part is to come up with what the cost of materials will be in a year. :mad: I was told it was due this Friday 1/20. I was just told that that was wrong and it's due 2/10!!! :cool1::yay::cheer2:

The DW does all the reservations for our trips. I just book flights and rental car. She makes up folders with all the confirmation numbers, prints out a small schedule with all the days and C# for meals so we can each carry one. Very very organized. Now if i could just get her to stop using the whole house as a @&#**$(($ clothes closet, i'd be a happy fella.

now that the mother-in-law is living home. :lmao:poor guy lives in a house with three hens. :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: And the TP is all messed up!

Don and those others that were wondering when Cedar Point would release the calendar for 2012....they just did....

http://www.cedarpoint.com/plan-a-visit/events-calendar

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Actually saw they were released on Monday... already got the spreadsheet going.... :surfweb: Thanks for looking out for me! Looks like our soft date is 7/2-7/3. Figured the holiday crowd might be a little lighter BEFORE the 4th than after.

Oh yeah... we used Alamo in December... got a free 2 car upgrade and was able to walk up, pick the car we wanted, and drive away hassle-free. Return was even faster... they scanned the barcode for the car, handed me a receipt and said "have a nice day."... and I DID.:thumbsup2

Sweet isn't it? We've used them for the last five years or so. Zip Zip Zip and we are on 417 heading west.

Did Fed happen to speak with her in private at any point when you met him? Just wondering. :confused3 :rotfl2:

I have a bit of recent experience on this, so I will give my 2 cents;

We just came back from 5 days at WDW with my DD who turned 4 yesterday, and DS who is 4 months old. I had your same concerns, but was really pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. DS slept pretty much both flights and DD watched a movie, so the flights went as great as we could have hoped (we had a bottle to feed DS during take off to help with his ears popping). We flew JetBlue and they were great about getting us on before the other passengers and making sure we were all set. We brought the double stroller right up to the plane and gate checked it. It was waiting for us when we got off.

Getting around WDW was a little bit tricky, but not too bad. The ony real challenge was getting both kids on the buses while I folded up the stroller and dragged that on. All the bus drivers were helpful though. If I had to do it over, I'd probably stay at BLT or a monorail resort rather than AKV because of the amount of busses we had to take. Walking or taking the monorail would have made this much easier.

Being in the parks with them was a blast. DS just hung around in the stroller or on my chest in a baby carry thing and looked around the whole time. DD loved the attention she got by having either me or DW go on rides with her alone. DW was breast-feeding at the time, and raved about the baby care centers at each of the parks. I guess they're nice... :confused3

All in all, if you can swing it, I'd say go for it. We had a terrific vacation. :thumbsup2

How are DS's sleep patterns? That's my biggest worry. After chasing DD around a park all day, I'm afraid of being up all night with The Baby (whom I've affectionately named MacGruber, much to DW's chagrin). I'm just really apprehensive about this whole deal. I think DW's remembering DD's infancy through rose colored glasses.

Cheers,
Indy

He usually gives us a good 6-8 hour stretch at some point in the night, but wakes to feed around 3 or so, then back to sleep till 7. We stayed in a studio, brought a noise machine for DD so DS wouldn't wake her if he did fuss. It wasn't bad at all.

I had the same reservations as you, but found I was worrying too much about it. Kids that age just want to eat and sleep...
