I'm finding the discussions about the childish behavior of coworkers very interesting. Five years ago, when we started expanding the team here we had to go out and hire a lot of 'kids' fresh from college. We now have a workforce in the office, most of whom are young enough to be my kids. For the most part they are good, hard working professionals, but every once in a while you get a flashback to what I'll call a "Ferris Bueller" moment. As in, why do I have to have someone check my stuff before it goes out. It's time for me to challenge authority around here. And this from someone with around 5-6 years under their belt. I think the culture of 'give them a trophy for just showing up' weighs heavily here. I want to get one of those spanking paddles they used in Animal House for just such occasions. But i'd imagine there's a regulation against that sort of thing.![]()
It's like having an argument with your wife then realizing she's the only one who "gives you some"...

Afternoon guys,
It is absolutely gorgeous down here. High 70's, no clouds and a slight breeze.
On the news right now, they are searching for an escaped prisoner from a work release program. Rode off on a bike. He is in handcuffs and shackles so I don't like his chances. Must be an interesting experiment riding a bike in handcuffs and shackles.
75 here...nice!!! Heard about the prisoner escape...guessing he was unsecured

Afternoon starting out rough...*AFTER* catching a bunch of fraud on my Check Card, I got a call to pick up DS with a 102 degree fever!!!
In regard to the fraud, the three $200.00 purchases to the same Coral Gables, FL Walgreens was a clue

Much easier to fix these things now than 15 years ago though.
