Interesting observation I had during our last drive to WDW. There are different versions of songs played in different areas of the country. There is a song by the Zac Brown Band called "Toes in the Water." The version we hear up here in Wisconsin has the line "I got my toes in the water, @$$ in the sand."
While driving through Kentucky/Tennessee/Georgia (I don't remember where, and it was 2 am so all of the scenery is "darkness") that song came on the a local radio station. However, the line was "toes in the water, heels in the sand."
So, clearly, Wisconsinites are all a bunch of godless heathens that cuss and swear at the drop of a hat.![]()
You know, I can't figure out what exactly the determination is that is used to dictate what and how to radio edit. I think the version I usually hear on the radio is "toes in the water, toes in the sand" yet in Toby Keith's Red Solo Cup, they don't edit out the "kiss my @$$" part, but they do change the word testicles to vegetables.
