What's the beer in question?

Yeungling draft. Apparently, it is in multiple locations at DHS QS. You could have turned back one page universe controller.

Well that answered itself nicely. :rotfl2:

Is Snarkiness allowed this early :confused3

I advocate 24h snarkiness. It's the only way I can get through work nowadays:sad2:

according to the Beers and Ears App, it's available in a TON of locations... and Pizza Planet is not one of them.

Which only indicates the App is not up to date, and I am sure Mr. Tiki is correct about where he enjoyed it.

Yup, am very sure it's where I had the beer in question :

Not that the pic really shows where I am..but it is the upper seating area. We have an app for dining around WDW and it showed Yeungling draft being there as well as other places. Had to ask around for the Sam Adams though, the kiosk out front had regular and their IPA, but I am not the biggest IPA fan, and wanted the Summer Ale. No Cherry Wheat anywhere though :(

Hope everyone's well today, Morning/Afternoon all. Looks to be a nice day here. Both girls have separate birthday parties today, I am taking Amelia to hers in a few, she's got a movie party at Square One, so I get3-4 hours wandering the mall all by my lonesome :lmao: Think I'll see what I can find in Chapters, and lunch somewhere. DW will be with Audrey at hers, a preschooler one, so I win there :rolleyes1

Great picture. I think I have only ever had Yuengling as draft. I like some of the Sam Adams, but not all are my fans. Still, if it is a draft beer, I'm more likely to drink it.

Consecutive Sunday ownage.

It looks like the rain delay has hurt djokovic even more than expected. Nadal is about to win the 2nd set and cruise to the record 7th French Open Championship. What an accomplishment.

I am watching it with my daughters :thumbsup2

An actual Disney question. Has anyone (I know CJ has) ate at Victoria & Albert's? Is it worth it? Did you do the wine tastings? I was reading its thread on the restaurant boards and it said that dinner took 4 hours. That seems incredibly long to me. Any DisDad opinions would be helpful.

Two sports I played; however, tennis is my stronger sport. Nasal finally lost a set.

Now a rain delay. I played in a 35 and over league a couple of years ago. It was pretty fun, a lot of Brits, Scots and Irish in the area so we got our butts handed to us often!

A great game and 4th quarter for LeBron. But, until they win a championship, it will not be enough for the masses. I just hope Bosh is healthy enough for OKC. LeBron against Durant will be a great matchup.

Should be a good series. Bosch is getting better every day and LeBron/Durant will be fun. You should have heard talk radio after they lost at home. Spolestra has to go.... Even if they win the Championship, a lot of fans down here will still be b****ing. That is one of many reasons why Miami fans suck.

Off to WDW in 51 hours. Got so much to do, but I get to go out today to buy some accessories for my new camera today. Still learning it but already loving the pics I'm getting with it.

Very cool. Have a great time. Where are you staying?

My ticker update: Fourteen days from right now I will be somewhere over the Pacific on my way to Hawaii. Dreading that flight. Lots of things to do before then. Still waiting for the camera and housing replacement for the one Crash lost. Hope to give it a trial run in the Keys next Sunday.

Been there five times, the Princess, three. First off, it is expensive. Very expensive. Is is worth it? Considering I spent $41 for just the braised short ribs at Jiko, for what you get at V&A, I say yes. It is more than a meal, it is an experience. She would say heck yes and is asking when we will be doing it again. (Answer: When you get a job)

Did the wine pairings once and between that, the pre-dinner drink and after-dinner mandatory Sambuca I was pretty loaded. They are pours not glasses but they add up. The thing about the wine pairing is some of the wines I liked better than others. All were good and went really well with each course. Worth doing once but now I would stick with just ordering a glass or two of what I like. Plan on spending at least 3 hours there. It is long, but a great way to soak in the ambiance, be served like royalty and have great conversation time with your dining partners. Some of the best conversations the kid and I have had were at V&A.

From our last stop to see Vicky and Al.

Afternoon Guys,

I have had a productive day so far. Fixed the fence, cleaned the front and rear gutters, steak is marinating, prepared packages for the board meetings I am hosting for the next two days, and had a cold one while watching the end of Spain/Italy.

All that is left is a shower, BBQ and a soccer game tonight at 7. I should sleep well tonight.

Think they will have a tennis court on the cruise ship? :lmao: I'll have to bring my racket and we can play sometime.

I listen to a lot of ESPN RADIO, and I hear a lot of these idiots. We can have the whole coaches vs players debate, but I think it's all about the players at the level. Would Phil Jackson have been as good running the triangle offense without Jordan or Kobe? Bellicheck didn't seem like a genius in Cleveland. I like both LeBron and Durant, so I think it will be fun to watch.

As for V&A's, I have read thru most of the DisBoard page and went to their website. I'll check out your report. While not a big wine drinker, I would do their pairings as I think that would be a part of the experience. I read where 4 hours was for CT and 2.5 hours was for main dining. We would probably go with that. It sounds crazy to pay $400 for a meal for 2 people, so it would be a once in a lifetime trip. The different menus looked great. The thing holding me back is the dress code. I hate wearing a tie. And, I can't imagine wearing a coat and tie in Florida for 3 hours to eat dinner. I would put a golf shirt on and dress shorts for them, but that may be the over the top.
