I can't even believe you mentioned Superman. I've never seen a crappier job of trying to hide a true identity. From that standpoint, he is the worst superhero ever.

But I see your point.

Allow me to substitute Mr. Incredible for Superman.

You guys to realize that CJ posted a picture of both you standing next to Crash, right? And one of you is wearing a race bib that says "Chris". :rolleyes1

Nice detective work. :thumbsup2

Cover blown.

Now it just becomes a race to see who can find you first. If you wouldn't mind hanging out at the margarita stand in Mexico all day every day until I get there, I would really appreciate it... ;)

When I was there in 2010, my son was really sad that I got a drink there and he didn't get a slurpee like mine.:sad2:

Do you have to go in to a restaurant to get one that's not frozen? I like mine on the rocks, no salt. Couldn't find one.

Best bet is to go into the Mexico building and go into La Cava del Tequila. Not a restaurant, just a tequila bar. They'll make you any type of margarita you want, and they have a lot of different types of tequila. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Clearly, the people of Metropolis are pretty slow on the uptake. No one seems to have figured it out yet. And he works at the newspaper! Theoretically the pinnacle of investigation and observant people!

Since you bring it up, I have a question: Why would anyone ever live in Metropolis? I mean, the place is constantly getting destroyed and over-run by villains. And its not like they're street-thugs, these are serious villains with weapons that can oftentimes destroy entire cities, much like the one they're living in. It just makes no sense to me. :confused3

Mornin Fellas

Haven't had much time to get on here in the past few days so I have been skimming but I'm sure I've missed something.

FIL has some sort of Doctor appointment today. When he first mentioned that he had to go out of town today to my DW, he said something about a pre-op visit but then quickly turned around and claimed it was nothing and was just a visit to the doctor's office. He has had quite a few health problems lately including a hole in his colon two years ago that took about nine months to recover from and has refused to say what this visit is about. DW is ticked. :headache:

Prayers for the FIL. Parents are sometimes worse than kids.

Friday night ownage. Youngest is at a friend's for sleepover. I went on date with oldest dd. She picked Menards and Justice. Really don't understand that combo, but that was wht she wanted. Went to local sports bar and watched some USA soccer. Antigua is rally bad or US was playing 2nd string in first half. Hopefully the rain prevented a true picture of how good USA soccer is.

Nobody makes fun of Batman for hiding his identity. Nobody makes fun of Superman for hiding his identity. Nobody makes fun of Spiderman for hiding his identity.

When you do the type of work we do, you need to have some secrets. :cool2:

Allow me to substitute Mr. Incredible for Superman.

You compare yourself to Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and Mr. incredible? Someone has a really strong opinion of themselves. And, just how many planets, villains, or cats out of tree did you save on the way home.

Best beer I've had at HS. They have it on tap at that little bar that's attached to 50's Prime time!

Mmm BEER!:drinking1

And, there is a QS at DHS that serves it draft. I don't remember which one.

We got it to a 10 year at 3.25%. Our monthly payment was about the same as before, but we were able to cut a year of payments off the last term.

Happy to say I divorced that last month:banana: I will not miss it

Well, it's official. I just registered for the race. Time to start training.

Cool! Get off you butt and get out there now. You don’t want to be beat by a little girl do you? Crash hasn’t registered yet but will be there that weekend. She is thinking the full but would have to leave that night because classes start the next day. I’m trying to talk her into doing the half.

Wow. I don't know what to say. Ya know, you prepare your whole life for an opportunity like this and when the moment arrives it's just so surreal. Is this really happening? Coaching Team Barry is an honor I won't soon forget. Will CJ mind? (You do know that Crash beat the crap out of me at last year's race, right?) I hadn't officially declared my allegiance yet, but this clinches it. I'll overlook the fact that you root for the wrong football team and take my talents to the Dairy State. Allegiance: Team Barry!

I accept!

Coach Chris, Welcome to team Barry. (Barry, don’t listen to him. He lost to a little girl.)

CJ is Head Trainer (like Mickey in Rocky. We just need to make sure he has the knit hat) and CMO (Chief Motivation Officer) He claims he had "boys" that will come "make sure that I train." I really don't know if he does or not, but he's scaring the hell out of me with that talk, so I'm going to train just in case.

"take my talents to the Dairy State" - classic. :thumbsup2

Was bumped up to the front office and am now GM for Team Cheese Head. Training duties were turned over to Luca Brasi. He will be in Wisconsin on Monday. Promise everyone that Barry will run a personal best.

We refinanced before Crash was born. Nowhere near your rate but much better than what we had and the house was paid for in 15 years. Really nice not to have a mortgage.

I'm offering a free glass of Florida Tap Water to anyone that wants it!

Such a sport. But then, you have three kids now.

Like Paul said, Cava is the place to go. A huge selection to tequilas and you can get multiple types of margaritas frozen or on ice.

Morning all. DW on the way to get youngest for softball practice. Oldest dd still asleep. I am drinking coffee, getting ready for th day. Other than softball practice, I need to cut the weeds and that should take take care of my duties for the day. I like these easy weekends,

Happy to say I divorced that last month:banana: I will not miss it

I remember reading that, and looking forward to it for us as well.

Congrat's... Now what's the plan?

Didn't you get the memo? He's buying me a condo in WDW.

We'll end up with a 20 year mortgage. We originally did the 30 year loan because I didn't know any better. I had refinanced it originally when rates fell, but was able to get even lower, so it was worth it. I won't be able to pay it off it 15. I may be able to pay it off a year or two early, but 20 ain't bad. This is what I think we need to change our educational system too. We need to include financing, investing, budgeting yearly in classes in HS. My dad taught me budgeting, but not the other two. If I knew then what a knew now ....

Good morning all :cool1:

Morning Dave. Always count on you to be here in the AM.

Three days three hours till we start driving to WDW. Kids are pumped DW and I have to much to do. Can't wait to leave.

Then go. Really, get in the car and start driving. We tried one year to plan to leave at 5 PM so we could gt to WDW by 8 the next morning and walk into a reservation. We were so pumped that we couldn't wit. So, we left two hours earlier and arrived t WDW at 6 AM. Nothing is open that early - we learned the hard way- but we were there even sooner. Ever sit in the lobby at CR at 6AM? It was really fun. Boogity, Boogity, Boogity - let's go racing to Disney World!
