I was able to change my hours tomorrow to 4-12 so I can go on my son's class trip, it should prove to be a interesting trip with me as a chaperone

Ouch! But if I remember correctly, the Dolphins kept the Bears from going undefeated in 86. I don't talk pro football. Too painful. Bad owners and incompetent front office for years.



UM can fall into a sinkhole and I would be a happy camper. Despise the Canes. And isn't UL now led by a former Florida defensive coordinator? Good coach.

Relatively new to this board back then. Would have gladly tossed a few back with you. Had a fun solo trip after dropping off the kid near Atlanta. Did the caves, went to Makers Mark and had some good food. Spent a couple of days in a city south of Lexington. Found this Mexican place and had a great authentic dinner. Who would have thought that.

Charlie Strong now. Good coach. Petrino, hate him for quitting on NFL or affairs, won us the only Orange Bowl.

I'm closing in on that on the minivan, 170K on the Camry. I'll take a jeep over a minivan.

The Jeep is at 192k, but it will take a while to get over 200 since all it's used for is going back and forth to work.
The van is at 172k. It's our workhorse - all the family trips (including 4 drives to Florida and back). It might hit 200 before the Jeep.

Night's entertainment is taken care of. Two of the best WWII movies are on, Bridge over the River Kwai and the Great Escape are on TCM. Break out the popcorn. Will be up until about 1 AM.

So my DW pulls out a movie for us to watch the other night. Warrior. Okay movie, better if you enjoy MMA fighting. But got us talking about an AWESOME movie, Warriors (1982, about the gang trying to fight their way back to Coney Island). Anyone else remember it? Seems like more of a NY area movie, since only NY/NJ/CT people commented on my FB post on it. How about out of area guys? Anyone else remember this movie as fondly?
