Thanks to everyone else for the happy birthdays for DD. She celebrated at her one-day-a-week preschool yesterday, her regular preschool today, we're going to Chuck E. Cheese for a bit when DW gets home tonight, then out for pizza (I know, Chuck's has something they sell as pizza, but it's really just cardboard with grease and cheese) DD's princess tea party will be a week from tomorrow, followed by the family party that sunday... Her birthday just never ends...

oh and we got her the Cinderella Castle playset this year.

In other news, (and another post )

I just tried to book the last part of our cruise sandwich and I was DENIED!! tried for a full week (Sun - Sat) at BW and couldn't get it because just one day... WEDNESDAY... wasn't available!! ugh!

I didn't have a backup plan when I called, so I needed to consult my points charts, and I'm now coming up with alternatives.

I told DW that if we hit the lottery, then we are building in Golden Oak, and building on a guest house for the DIS dads to stay. You all would work out your rotation system. It would cost your family 1 meal at a WDW restaurant, case of beer (or equivalent spirit - good stuff only), and 1 Dole Whip during the trip.

I have our stations' holiday party to attend tomorrow night, have to get a gift for the exchange (some lucky coworker is going to be walking away with a framed, autographed photo of me!). Other than that not much. May get stuff together for the blog I want to start. Maybe finally get around to updating my Trip Report... (shyeah right!).

This castle everyone has or wants, is it the one that's in scale with the Monorail (the Park exclusive toy) or a different one?

Not sure about everyone else, but the ones my kids - yes, I said my kids - got from their grandparents is in scale with the Monorail. It opens up and has a few rooms, plus a really cool doorbell chime. The problem was they gave it to my kids on one of our driving trips to FL. We had to figure out a way to pack it in the already stuffed van for the ride back to Wisconsin without breaking it.
