I looked into the AP and that could be a good move. The only thing holding me back is that it is valid for 1 year to the day so if we go on June 1st then my return must be before that to take advantage of the pass. If I were able to do that it would save me well over $1000! That doesn't even count the savings of table in wonderland card. My kids school schedule prevents me from doing that.

That's where you find a weekend getaway for just you and the wife to throw in somewhere down the line. An anniversary maybe? Find some cheap airfare and voila. Cuts down on the total savings, but still, it helps to "justify" that AP purchase. - OR - you just bite the bullet and enjoy the savings, even though you know you won't be back before they expire.

THANKS GUYS!!!

tammy got into my "ride count sheet" :lmao:
since 1994, i have been keeping track of what attractions we went on, how many times etc....

here is something to shake your head over :sad2:

she has gotten back to may of 2004 so far:

since may 2004.... 21 trips......186 nights on property, most at okw

top three rides in the mk only:

buzz light year 44 times
people mover 43 times
pirates of the car 33 times

i think we better see a doctor!

That's what I was just going to type....

Or you make it down for the DDC meet in January 2013 and your park tickets are paid for! ;) :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You are a HARD CORE DISDad! I have no clue how many times I rode on what rides. :confused3

Looking back I probably should have bought into DVC! In the last five years we have spent way more than the cost of membership and dues.
Now, my oldest daughter will be graduating this year and my other two will be graduating soon.. Empty nest will follow. My wife and I will continue going to Disney but it will just be us.

I am just frustrated that the dining plan went up that much and I know that families with teens will not sit down to three TS meals everyday. It really wasn't a bad deal when it included tips but now... NOPE!

just paid my dvc dues this morning. $1993.
add that plus my orig. investment it comes to $2800.00 per year.
with that i get 2 trips per year a total of 20 nights per year. :thumbsup2
its never to late to start, the prices of rooms only keeps going up. :thumbsup2

So here's a fun little bit of trivia (which of course will change with this post) :rotfl: But as of THIS count that I just pulled, my post count on THIS thread matches my DDC number. I'm #86. :) Silly I know, but it just make me chuckle. And look at my nemesis... way down there at 1. C'mon Nate - where are you?

I can't wait to go back and get new pics with my new camera... it takes much better action shots!

Careful there, Christopher, don't want to lose you. :rotfl:

Ok, one more picture for the morning... and then I have to get off of here to take my son (& family) to his birthday lunch. Have a great day guys.

I love those 1 & 2 BR's at OKW.

They are. The largest of the DVC villas. You should. You need to. They're pretty sweet. It's not even showing the master bedroom, or the full walk-in laundry room. And the huge master bathroom... the only ones with whirlpool tubs technically large enough for 2.

Sorry Dave - I do too. Just think of it as inspiration... :confused3

I'll bet you have! I almost did myself last year.
