Hey there guys. Just got back from meeting with Andy. He's a great guy and a huge UK fan. (who would have guessed? :confused3) :rotfl2:

It was really nice to meet you Andy and worth the trip into the city for sure.

The UK part was true for a few hours yesterday:rolleyes1...

Wow... I'm slow on the uptake tonight... I read this about being a "UK fan" and here I am thinking he's a fan of the United Kingdom. I thought that was a little weird, but then I thought, well, maybe that's his favorite pavilion in EPCOT.

yeah. maybe I should go get some sleep. :lmao::rotfl2:

I think you're ok if up by 60. Thus far, I am having a great fantasy weekend - sweep in all my leagues - despite my own stupidity. I sat Laurent Robinson because he was questionable with a shoulder injury. As of now, I won the matchup by .65. If there is a stat correction, then I am out as well as beverlyed and peanut buttered for outthinking myself.

I had a loss turned into a tie via Stat-Correction early in the season. I hope your W holds.

Disdad meet Chicago style. There's a picture so it must have happened.
That's Brian (middlepat) on the left and I'm on the right.

It was great to meet you Brian. Thanks for taking the time to come into town on a Sunday evening.

Awesome :thumbsup2

Still, no taste in college teams :lmao: in all seriousness I was hoping they would keep it within 20. I always hope for them to win, but I did not expect them to beat KY.

Tell her that I am sorry .... I told Amazon to not let those charges show until after the holidays!:rotfl2:

Seriously, we just had the same sort of situation with Justice. Shari had made some purchases but then there was another purchase that went through the next day on our account that was not our. The CC company took care of it. Does your debit card have a 24 hour access number on the back to get customer service?? Tis the season for this sort of thing unfortunatley!!

All the more reason to check that CC statement closely.

LOL Steve - Yeah, we tried calling the bank last night and they were closed till this morning. So I'm hoping she calls first thing to get it settled. I just hope that the bank has the same policy on our debit cards as they do for our credit cards when it comes to fraudulent purchases. In the past, they've gave us our money back (but that was for credit card transactions).

All the more reason to check that CC statement closely.

Yeah - she's not the best at making sure her account is balanced. I've been on her about doing it more often. She's just "so busy". :rotfl:

Did he take you to Lou Malnati's? I remember it was about that dark when we finally got in there. :rotfl2:

And Calipari led the state in mourning yesterday. Seriously, UK basketball is a religion to most of these people. Most UK fans can tell you every game start time for a season but not their church service schedule. I like sports and all our KY teams, but don't fall into that nutty category. I mean, I have my own category, but not there. That's why I am a fan of pro sports. Most people wouldn't be obsessed with a high school boy (insert bad jokes here), but a few monts later at UK basketball, they become topics of dinner conversations, prayers, home invitations, autograph sales, etc.

Not specifically with Amazon but I had charges on one of my debit cards from Barcelona over the summer, and DW just had something charged to her card from somewhere in Europe a couple of weeks ago.

Fortunately, the companies take care of these pretty quickly (so you are not responsible) but it is scary and a huge pain. We're down to only one credit card now, but have the fraud detector call us with international charges and charges over $500.

Welcome Bill.... Sounds like you'll fit in just fine here.

It's not about how much money you have - or how often you go, it's just the appreciation for all things Disney and a group of folks to share it with.

I have been there 6 times as well - 7 next year. We are looking to make the journey to Anaheim probably in 2013.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

And as we've talked about before, a commitment to your families and kids that transcends money or any other criteria you come up with. Aaron puts it very well in his podcast intro!

Good morning guys :thumbsup2

Morning, Duck! Hope the DW had a nice birthday yesterday!

Morning dads, 6 weeks from today I head to WDW:banana:

That was my exact thought until I read your post... :confused3

Back to 2999 again, Norm! (after we were penalized for the Tread-that-shall-not-be-named)

Morning guys. Slept like a rock last night. After waking up the kid for school I went back to sleep. Trip took a bit out of me.

they did not lock you up for wearing that banned shirt????:rotfl2:

Security tried to hassle me but I told them I was from marketing and we were trying out a new men's line. A couple of people commented on it and asked me what Dis Dad was. I told them it was a cult.

We had a great time on this too short trip. Went to the WDW Today Reunion CoP meet and the Dis WWoHP event. Harry was really fun. We went on the ride three times in a row. The kids did the dueling dragons four times in a row. The MK was nearly as empty. Multiple rides in a row on Splash and Big Thunder Saturday morning.

A couple of pics.

Great time of year to go. The only real crowds we encountered were shoppers at Downtown Disney. Back to the real world until Marathon Weekend.

Hey guys, I wanted to share this with you. I mentioned earlier in this thread that we had a cast member come to our recue while we were staying at Kidani. I sent an email and wrote a letter explaining the situation and asked that Robin, from engineering, be recognized for his help.

I just got a call from Robin's boss! He said he was really pleased to hear that a cast member went above and beyond. Normally he said they only hear the bad (I think we all know that), but it is really refreshing when someone wants a cast member recognized. He said that they have programs within Disney to recognize superior service. He said that my letter and email have been forwarded to the department heads that cover their area. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

This has nothing to do with me, I am just glad that an exceptional person will get recognized for helping someone and doing it with care and a smile.
