Friday night movie night and we are introducing the littles (DD 7 and DS 4) to The Aristocats. I'm sure I saw it as a kid but I don't remember it at all.

My dds found Marie in France at Epcot one year. I think they had seen the movie on Disney, but we bought it after that.

This is totally off. I think I have 2 posts since dinner...

But I'm interested in this beer when a paper gets accepted rule of Ben's. Does the 1st or Senior Author buy? And does impact factor of the journal get taken into account? Is there a spread sheet we could develop for this?

This time warp's stuff's killing me - I think my head is going to explode - or maybe it did, and I just haven't caught up to that time.

I guess it's true - change one thing from the past, and it has a catastrophic impact on future events.

I vote we rename this thread to DDC 14, and start a new DDC 13 - in memory of our lost thread, but no one post to it. Simply have Emma's Dad start it, and have Kathy close it. We skip it and move on.

Let's say we call it:

DDC XIII - RIP October 18 -> November 24, 2011

Hmm. I didn't know we had to have formal rules. But then again, any chance to create a spreadsheet...

I'm not sure the actual function yet but the parameters include # of authors, tenure status/seniority of the least senior author, quality of the journal/conference and the quality of the beer being served at the bar. When Andy got his first publication we treated him to a $3 FAC pitcher of Bud Light. Today with his third publication and with three more years until his tenure decision, we made him buy us $4 pints of Sam Adams Winter Lager.
