Well, La Crosse has the World's Largest Six Pack. And the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward has that huge Muskie you can walk through. Or the Circus Museum in Baraboo. Of course you have to go to Lambeau Field. Probably twice. And Milwaukee's Fonzie Statue (The "Bronze Fonze":thumbsup2) ...

....oh, you meant besides just in Wisconsin? Why would you want to go anywhere else?

Your realize that Wisconsin to Vegas is 1800 miles right? I don't know how long you've been over there and gotten used to being able to cross the country in a few hours, but the US is still just a little bit bigger. ;)

I would think that if you're heading to Vegas anyway, a stop at the Grand Canyon would be in order. I would probably then head east through the southern states on my way to WDW. I havn't done much down that way, so you'll have to get advice from the Southerns on the board.

Actually, we've already visited Lambeau and, actually, gotten our pics taken with the Bronze Fonz.

And yes, I am aware how far away LV is. Although, according to map sites I've visited, it's no farther than WDW...

Btw, DW is constantly amazed at how big America is. We moved across the country and it only took 4 hours. Quite literally, the entirety of South Korea is slightly smaller than Wisconsin.

Scott - Prayers out to your family

It's been a while since we had a "What's for Dinner in Canada?" report.

Dinner tonight consisted of - Meatballs, rice, broccoli and pickles.

Just watched a recorded Late Late show with Craig Ferguson last night and he was poking fun at Canadian Thanksgiving dinner. Said something like they carve the puck for dinner. Was a good one. Made me think of it.

I used to make those at the Big Thunder Ranch BBQ many, many moons ago. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD food. Yum. My mouth is watering now just remembering them. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmm good.

Better be careful. You might get turned in for a copy write violation from Campbell's soup

Looking for some input.
I'm trying to plan a possible trip in December of next year, most likely early-mid, for about three weeks.* 4-5 days of which will be spent in Wisconsin, visiting family. (That's about all the Wisconsin winter weather my DW is willing to take :lmao: )
Where are some good places to visit around that time, that are relatively warm, and relatively cheap? (Flying round-trip from Korea isn't exactly light on the wallet)
What I'm looking at right now is possibly doing a massive road trip, perhaps to Vegas and/or WDW (very wallet-friendly, I know :rotfl: )
What would be some good things to do in WDW around that time?* What would the damage be, money-wise?
Also, if all goes to plan, we will hopefully have a little one with us (no more than 3 months old)...so take that into consideration.

You could drive from Wisconsin to Vegas. While in Vegas win a lot of money and use that to get to fly to WDW or if you do like any other person (pay into Vegas) then you could drive to Disney Land and fly back from California. Flight might be a bit cheaper than flying from Florida.

Evening dads, been one long day at work, as we gear to Christmas, tomorrow'll be fun, both District AND Regional Directors will be visiting and inspecting. I wonder what kind of trouble I can stir up :rolleyes1. The Science Center was a hit, girls had a blast with it, and I quite annoyed DW by yelling "SCIENCE!!" like that old guy in the old "Blinded Me With Science" song/video by Thomas Dolby.

Wonderful... Now I am going to have that song in my head all day.
"She blinded me with science.
She blinded me with science!"

Now while typing this i heard "If i had $1000000000", By Barenaked Ladies
I happened to hear something.
They say in it "they have pre-wrapped sausages but they don't have pre-wrapped bacon."
The other guy asks "well can you blame them?"
And he says "well yeah!"
My kids love this song.

WDW has all kinds of things for the holiday season during that time.

- If you are there the first weekend (usually), you can see the Disney X-Mas parade taping, a star studded event, that is rebroadcast on ABC X-mas day
- MVMCP (MK)
- Holidays around the World (Epcot)
- Candlelight Processional (Epcot)
- Osborne Family Lights (DHS)

And the best thing about it is the crowds are generally realllllly low that early in December.

Have an awesome time.

Come to think of it - wasn't that the time of year there was talk of a DISDad's Disney Meet?

I was aware of most of these things. I know that MVMCP costs extra. Does anything else?

you know if we keep this up we will have a Wisconsinite ownage

Now that is two days in a row you have foiled my page ownage ideas

Haven't you seen The Muppets? Travel by map! Sheesh.

Unfortunately, there is no current release date for the new The Muppets movie. However, if you are referring to the original...I don't think we want to wind up in Saskatchewan....

There's got to be a bootleg DVD on the streets for a buck or two by now. (Well, there would be in China. Korea may actually enforce some form of copyright laws)

Morning everyone, haven't made it to the boards in awhile, thought I would stop by and say hello :)

Good to see you back Ryan!
