Don't want to bring the mood of this thread down....

I just found out my dad has prostate cancer.

Your prayers would be much appreciated.

Absolutely. I hope they're able to fix your dad up ASAP.

Looking for some input.
I'm trying to plan a possible trip in December of next year, most likely early-mid, for about three weeks.* 4-5 days of which will be spent in Wisconsin, visiting family. (That's about all the Wisconsin winter weather my DW is willing to take :lmao: )
Where are some good places to visit around that time, that are relatively warm, and relatively cheap? (Flying round-trip from Korea isn't exactly light on the wallet)
What I'm looking at right now is possibly doing a massive road trip, perhaps to Vegas and/or WDW (very wallet-friendly, I know :rotfl: )
What would be some good things to do in WDW around that time?* What would the damage be, money-wise?
Also, if all goes to plan, we will hopefully have a little one with us (no more than 3 months old)...so take that into consideration.

You should get all the good Christmas stuff getting there in early December, but without the outrageous crowds in the Christmas-New Year's stretch.

As for Wisconsin, you should be able to enjoy an ample amount of cold. And cheese. Depending on where you are, it might not be too far to Chicago and things like the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium. And, if you aren't careful, shopping.

Hey, if the DOT guy says you can drive to Hawaii, then you can drive to Hawaii.

They have an Interstate highway, so...

I was aware of most of these things. I know that MVMCP costs extra. Does anything else?

The Candlelight Processional is probably best done with a dining package, so that you can get reserved seating and not have to wait in a line that I've heard can last through an entire performance; as in, you line up before the first performance, and may get seated for the second performance. The dinner packages are arranged by tiers according to the restaurant, so the nicer places will cost you more than less expensive restaurants. The 2011 packages are priced out here.

Morning Dads,
Had a late night last night (well, late with the kids - not as late as they were when DW and I did not have kids, but a respectable 10 pm or so). DD is sick - coughing and kind of feverish. WDW is not as much fun when sick. :(

Not much on tap for today though, so she can rest. Late breakfast with Lilo & Stitch, then wander around resorts to look at Christmas decorations, and then the Christmas party in the MK tonight. It's DW's b-day, so it's her day.

Ugggg... hope kids feel better quick.

Happy Birthday to Mrs. SAHD :)

There's got to be a bootleg DVD on the streets for a buck or two by now. (Well, there would be in China. Korea may actually enforce some form of copyright laws)

We do have that here as well, however, I only knew of where to get them in Seoul...not in "Poo Hang"...

Edited to add: second ownage of the night/day!

Let's go Packers/badgers/bucks/Wisconsin!!!!!

So I was catching up worth baseballmickey's TR....DW isn't as I love with disney as I am... What should I do? Should I continue with my plan for December?
