I'm booked for the 1st through 3rd of February for a conference in Orlando!:thumbsup2 It looks like I should be able to break away on the afternoon of the 3rd for a visit to DTD, but shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it is a business trip!!!;)

Anyone else going to be there around then? Anyone....anyone?:confused3

I'm there Feb 17-25 (with my family) and March 2-6th (with my wife until the 4th, alone from 4-6th). :cool1:

GAH! Your parents will just miss my brother and sister-in-law performing on that cruise by about two months. They just finished a four-month contract performing for Second City on that ship cruising Hawaii.

D'oh!

That's too bad...

Sounds suspiciously like me trying to convince my son that kids in elementary school just haven't caught up with how cool being good at math is.
In 20 yrs when those kids are working for your son, they'll realize how cool it was.:thumbsup2
Sitting on the couch with DW and DS (4 months); DS drops a MASSIVE load in his mickey mouse diapers; DW is holding him, but has changed his diapers all day; We both look at each other with the same, "Not It!" look, and the battle begins...

To be continued...
We always did rock, paper scissors. I lost about 80% of the time.
Happy non-working Friday! :woohoo::yay::dance3:
Hey Ron! Glad you made it back!:cool1:
Although this is a break from my normal job at a paying location, I will be spending most of my day putting up drywall compound :headache: Finished up the last pieces of drywall last night and now it's a marathon weekend to seal this bathroom deal!

No, no, no Don. Marathon weekend is next week.

I missed too many pages because we took the DD's zip lining this morning. The place is about 2 hours north of here and after the time spent there, the drive there and back, plus traffic, we decided to eat a late lunch (4:30) in Seattle. If I get a chance I will go back and ketchup (sorry, this is a reference to a EB PC cruise). I posted a video on Facebook and if it uploads soon I will post a link to the YouTube upload. Now I am beat.

BTW, we had a great time.:thumbsup2

Very cool video, and well edited... Looks like you had an awesome time.

Mental note: If ever zip lining - Don't swing your feet... ;)

Alana was very brave stuck out there. :thumbsup2

I’m sure they will. I know I would
(dang this terminal lack of excessive amounts of disposable income).

Me and you suffer from the same terminal illness... :rotfl2:

My folks are both retired, and spend the winters in South Florida.

They started cruising about 8 years ago, and have gone on at least one every year since.

They sometimes get last minute sell offs, or get special offers for being regular cruisers.

We have yet to go on a cruise, and although we are big Disney folks, I think our first cruise (maybe 2013) will be a Carnival Cruise. The prices for the Disney boats are about double (from what I've seen), and I don't want to ruin cruising for life by going on the best one first.

I think I could pass on a Disney trip for a cruise to Hawaii. Now, perhaps that is something to add to the western trip. Drive to Grand Canyon, Disneyland, cruise to Hawaii, Aulani, fly home.

Actually they fly to Hawaii - then board the ship, and cruise around the islands

It’s a nasty malady ain’t it? :lmao:

Sounds like a good plan (both the starting with Carnival and the idea of retiring to Fla so I can take advantage of cruise sell offs… assuming I’m actually able to retire that is ).

DCL does a really good job, but they are more expensive (partly because they don’t make their profits off of gambling or push liquor sales that heavily). For me just about any cruise would be a great experience. It’s like most other things in life… you’ll get back what you put into it.

Carnival offers some sailings out of Charleston during the spring and summer. Being only a three hour drive, I may need to look into doing an adults only cruise with tem sometime in the near.

The slumber party girls made it to sleep around midnight and now, it is 8:00 AM and the creatures are stirring. DW went out, and fortunately returned, to bring donuts home so we can sugar up the little giggle monsters and send them back home.

Good move…
It seems the most acceptable form of vengeance available at the moment

:lmao:

Agree! Excellent plan! :thumbsup2

We did the same with one of my son's friends.

It was his 7th birthday party, and this one kid was totally out of control. We told they parents to pick them up at 4:00, and his folks came at around 4:40.

He was way to wild the whole party, hitting other kids. Actually had to give him a time out.

Well at the party we made cupcakes (instead of a birthday cake). We gave all the kids a plain cupcake, and had different icings on the table, and a HUGE candy platter for decorating. It had gummies, sour things, chocolate chips, sprinkles, worms, etc...
When all the kids were gone except for this one brat - we were cleaning up the table, and he was grabbing the green army man gummies off of other kids half eaten cupcakes and eating them (as we were throwing them away).

I asked him if he wanted more candy, and I took a ziploc bag and filled it completely with all the left over candy (from the tray not garbage - I am not that mean ;) ) I told him he can't eat it now, he has to take it home.

His parents came to get him, I delicately mentioned he was a bit wild. I think his folks assumed the candy bag was part of the loot bag. :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Stealth Vengeance :rotfl2:

I suspect that y’all were grinning from ear to ear as they were heading toward the car.

Been a non-productive morning reading news headlines. I should know better. As much as I hate resolutions I am going to limit myself to no more than 15 minutes of news a day. When ignorance is bliss tis folly to be wise.

Before we went on our first cruise I was afraid i would be bored and hate it!!!!! Boy was I wrong...Now I prefer them!!! We are booked for the fantasy next June but worry that it might be our last Disney Cruise..the prices are ridiculous!!:scared1:

Morning Guys,

Very cool. Need to do that sometime.

You might have problems finding a place down there where the highest point in the state is Expedition Everest. But, judging from the TR I have read, you and the Pirate Princess would enjoy it. Carolyn was a little wild eyed a few times. Her biggest problem was when we were done they rappel you down and at first she did not want to let go of the rope.

Nemesis it looks like you have padded your numbers during the night and morning and pulled away :rotfl2:
