Aw poor Lucy, hope she is feeling better soon. :wizard:

Thanks, Heidi.

I tried yoga with Kristin last summer.. AAAAAAAAAAAAACK

But, after seeing how it toned her body I am determined that when I get the Wii Fit I will shake hands firmly and embrace it wildly! :rotfl2:

I could never ever do a real class. I couldn't imagine the thought of looking so horribly uncoordinated and unbalanced in front of a bunch of people. I am quite content to look like a lunatic in my living room though!!

Awww Elin.:sad2:

I saw a woman in the parking lot at Costco, loading her trunk with 10 of them. She said her "friend" was going to sell them on Ebay. Needless to say, when we walked in to snag one for you, the shelf was bare!!!

I will keep an eye out for one around here too. I would not pay that crazy $ they are asking on Ebay.

To all do it yourselvers.... you probably are a lot smarter than me. I think it would have been better to read the directions BEFORE I used the gorilla glue. I glued the fence and wiped off the excess with my finger, as if it were Elmers. :rotfl2: So I came in and washed my hands... this glue isn't moving. :rotfl:

My DGD said, it's a good thing it's not wood glue. I had to sandpaper that off my finger. I said gorilla glue is wood glue. So she :lmao: :rotfl:

The guy who mows my lawn said he would be here yesterday at 10:00 am. Then he called and said 11:00, then he called and said 10:00am today, then he called and said 1:00pm today. Now he's just not calling. My lawn looks like the jungle right about now. I think I'm going to sweep the deck and then join my DD and DGD in their day of beauty. Doing our hair, nails, eyebrows, soaking our feet relaxing looking at trash tv.

Have great days DDA!!!

I hope you enjoyed your day of beauty and I pray you are no longer glued together.

Ok then, I'll say it. I'm jealous! :teeth: Of course, I'm jealous of anyone traveling, anywhere! :rotfl:

We had a great afternoon so far, though! We went to the West Chester Mothers of Twins Club picnic. It was supposed to rain all day, but the weather turned out to be absolutely gorgeous instead! Our girls were by far the youngest there (I think the next were about 11 months old). It was so much fun though, to see dozens of families with multiples, everywhere, in all different ages and stages of life. (And, I got to use the girls' "cabana" that I missed out on July 4th in the dreary weather ;))

Now, however, my MIL is here. This of course means that before we could put the car in park, she was taking the girls out of it. I have obviously since relinquished any right I have to my own children until she leaves, thus the time spent on the internet. Thankfully, they brought great grandma down, which negates any chance of an overnighter :yay:

The picnic sounded like a fun outing. The MIL, eh, not so much. But I am glad that she didn't stay long!!

That would have been enough by itself for me. I hope he is feeling much better.

It was good, and the leftovers for lunch today were also great. Today has been just wonderful. I slept more than 6 hours, got to go to my regular Church (the first time in over 8 weeks) got to take a nap, and we even have clean clothes. I'm about to start picking up around here some, then we may go swimming. It is incredibly hot here today.

Marci, I am so glad you all got a weekend of relaxation. I can only imagine that with the schedule you keep it must have been heavenly to just be home.

Kristin has arrived at the beach house and the weather is perfect. yay

:rotfl2:

Sure doesn't sound like your not jealous ;) :goodvibes

Three Women, Two Younger, And One Senior
Citizen, Were Sitting Naked
In A Sauna.

Suddenly There Was A Beeping Sound. The
Young Woman Pressed Her Forearm And The Beep Stopped. The
Others Looked At Her Questioningly. 'that Was My
Pager,' She Said. I Have A Microchip Under The Skin Of
My Arm.

A Few Minutes Later, A Phone Rang. The
Second Young Woman Lifted Her Palm To Her Ear. When She
Finished, She Explained, 'that Was My Mobile Phone. I
Have A Microchip In My Hand.

The Older Woman Felt Very Low -tech. Not To
Be Out Done, She Decided She Had To Do Something Just As
Impressive. She Stepped Out Of The Sauna And Went To The
Bathroom. She Returned With A Piece Of Toilet Paper Hanging
From Her Rear End.

The Others Raised Their Eyebrows And Stared
At Her.

The Older Woman Finally Said..........well,
Will You Look At That.... I'm Getting A Fax!!

That was just too funny!!

It's been a semi-quiet day today. I stayed home from church to enjoy some peacefulness since the week was absolutely crazy with horrid behavior due to lack of sleep from the work kids more often than not. I watched tv with Terra for a little while then went to Borders on my own for about an hour. Had a cup of coffee, a muffin and just read. After that the whole family arrived after church and we fixed lunch and then swam. Phil is working until 2am tonight so now I'm contemplating taking myself or maybe me and Terra out to dinner or something tonight to enjoy some more alone time. If I decide not too I'll be around some tonight as I need to get busy on getting our exact WDW plans together, especially for Phil's days.

Glad you had some down time. I hope today didn't prove to be too bad.

Oh, dear. Uncle1 just e-mailed that Uncle2's sister has breast cancer. They lost their mom to breast cancer many years ago. She is having surgery on Thursday, which is the same day the Uncles have to leave for an out of town wedding. :guilty: So sad. I hope everything goes well for her. Another one of their sisters has battled cancer already, but I don't think it was breast cancer.

:wizard: for Uncle2's sister.

Thanks! I met her once at a birthday party. She is very sweet. Uncle1 was just getting in from a business trip so he didn't give me any details. Hopefully they caught it early and she will be fine.

Today they start the window replacement. Momboss said I can come in at 9:30 because she wants to talk with the workers and they won't arrive until then, so she's going in to work later than usual.

I hope the window replacement isn't too bad.

Alyssa's Drama Camp starts today and runs through Friday 9am-12pm. I can't wait to see how she likes it. Then I get to come home and do laundry. FUN! It is cloudy and rainy here today. Oh and this is my last week of vacation. :(

Did Alyssa enjoyed her first day? Enjoy your last week!!!

glad to hear her ears and throat were clear. I agree with Elizabeth and Jennifer alternate the tylenol and motrin. I hope you were able to see the Pedi today. I have never heard of teething causing a fever that high either.

Tammi hugs for Nicholas. Olivia was diagnoised with asthma this winter. we had to give her daily breathing treatments. hopefully it wont be a problem this winter coming up.

Thanks, Jennifer. Can't wait to see pics of Olivia's party.

Well, so far the windows have been a pleasant surprise. They started with Princess's room, so now her room is finished AND it isn't too hot in there. Since her room is on the other end of the house from the playroom we never really had any issues this morning. I am sure as they move into the living/dining areas things will get ugly. :scared:

Of course the housekeeper is attempting to clean, which makes naptime a challenge under the best circumstances. I put Princess in bed and the next thing I know she is vacuuming IN Princess's room! Was that REALLY necessary? Anyway, too late now!

DH just picked up DS.

Wow, it has been really slow here.

Lucy was fine all day yesterday until the late afternoon. Her fever spiked (it only went up to 102) and she started looking sick and miserable again. We had been giving her the tylenol and Motrin all day and it seemed to work. The fever went back down and she just wanted to sleep. We put her to bed around 7pm and she slept all night, except when we gave her the medicine. She woke up with a slight fever 100.6. She has only been up about 2 1/2 hours today. And she is quite miserable. She just is not happy with anything and has been crying when she was up. She has eaten and drank her bottles just fine. I called her pediatrician and am waiting for a call back. I really think that it is a virus now and not a reaction to her shots.

Well I'm glad that it's not a horrible day. But the housekeeper sounds like a loon. Couldn't she wait?!?

okay so Jeff is wanting to get a new Video camera before the trip. He is wanting a smaller one. He is thinking about getting one with a hard drive built in or getting one that uses memory cards. Do any of you have one of these types of cameras. I told him if he got it that would be his Christmas present. I wouldwrap the box up for Christmas

Remember the dad of Emma's girl scout friend that was infatuated with Lucy? Can I ask that you keep Emma's friend and her parents in your prayers. Apparently things between Mom and Dad have been deteriorating quite rapidly since his return home from Iraq. They are planning to separate and he is looking to move out into a place of his own. My heart breaks for them, especially Emma's friend. She had such anxiety when Dad was away and I cannot imagine that this will be easy for her.

Sorry - no clue! Our camcorder is an ancient one that uses those little tapes. We recently gave it to DS to play with because DH hasn't used it in years.

I guess she figured since I JUST put Princess in there that she would vacuum and be done with it before Princess fell asleep?

Sad. :guilty: I imagine that happens more often than we realize. Good thoughts for them! :wizard: I hope they can get some counseling through the military, either to work things out or go their separate ways in a manner that is minimally destructive to their DD.

we have currently the one that takes those tapes. he wants one that is smaller as he will be carrying it in his backpack.

Robyn prayers for that family

Elizabeth, no matter what the maid though, she was wrong. :headache:

Princess will be in school on Mondays and Wednesdays again in the Fall, so this won't be an issue after she starts back. For now it is just sort of an inconvenience.
The housekeeper is very sweet. Even though she speaks to me exclusively in Spanish. ;)

Anyone have an easy dessert recipe? or have a link to Glynis's recipes? Big family cookout on the 19th, asked to bring a covered dish, but I am going to bring a dessert too.

And guess what? I am refusing to do my deviled eggs, but they don't know it yet. ;) Talked my sister into doing them and I am taking crab/cheese stuffed mushrooms.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Crab Stuffed Mushroom En Croute
(courtesy Paula Dean)

1/2 cup herb flavored cheese (recommended: Boursin)
1/2 cup finely minced crabmeat (may use imitation)
18 uniform sized mushrooms, stem removed
1 box phyllo pastry (will need at least 18 sheets)
1/3 cup butter, melted
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine cheese and crab in a small bowl. Divide crab mixture among the upside-down mushroom caps, stuffing the mushrooms. Carefully lay 6 sheets of phyllo dough on top of one another, brushing every other sheet with melted butter. Cut phyllo lengthwise down the center and then cut each half into 3 pieces to make 6 rectangles. Place a mushroom, cheese side up, in the center of each square. Season with salt and pepper. Lift sides of pastry over mushrooms to resemble small bundles and form a "neck," pinching edges together to seal. Repeat the entire procedure 2 more times.

Place on a greased baking sheet and brush with beaten egg. Bake for about 15 minutes until pastry is crisp and golden. Serve hot.

Hi, Heidi! I'm back from camping and can send you a ton of easy dessert recipes. I'm trying to catch up, but I'll pause for a while and PM you some of my favorites!

Hi, Glynis! So did you really not have to lift a finger? :confused3 Can't wait to hear about camping!

okay now that Olivia's Birthday is out of the way and my annual portfolio is turned in. I can now focus solely on our trip.

I need to decide what songs I am putting on my and Olivias MP3 players

I have to decide on which autograph cards I want to make and make them. I need to make Olivia's fun book for the plane ride.

I have seen some Journal pages so I am thinking of trying to take a few ideas from the ones I have seen posted and do my own.

I need to figure out if I am just going to leave the girls tink gifts or have tink leave stuff for Jeff and myself as well.

I need to decide which resort I am doing the Photoshoot at. As soon as Elin and Tia decide if they want to do a Photo pass share I need to preorder the CD.

Hmm how early is to early to start packing. I am going to the beach July 25 - July 28 then no planned overnight trips till WDW.

OK, the only one of these I am good at is packing! :rotfl2:
DH said yesterday he wouldn't mind packing now. The problem with packing now is that once we get the suitcases out the only place to put them is in the hallway. I don't really want to trip over a 29" suitcase repeatedly for the next 18 days. IF you have somewhere to put a partially packed suitcase where you won't trip over it then you can start packing now.

I do have one suitcase that I leave WDW stuff in year round, but I don't have it out yet.

I could find a place in Virginia's room. Only problem with having more then the one suitcase down right now is Olivia might see them and ask why the are down. I realized I dont have enough luggage. last time we went we borrowed my moms big suitcase then we had our big one that we got from disneyshopping and the smaller one that came with it. I need to either get her suitcase or buy another big one.

oh I just realized I forgot to add to that list make shirts for Jeff and I for MNSSHP and make the girls their trick or treat bags.
