Wow slow day here, hope that means everyone was having a good day!

Gary's work was called off today because of rain(ended up being a beautiful day)& he finished the living room We went out & bought a couple more pictures & some iron candle sconces. Tomorrow he will lay the floor in the dining room. He is going to close off the other rooms, so when he sands the floors I will not have to clean everything again

Well I am just getting the kids in the shower. Daniel's baseball playoffs ran until 8:30pm..they lost, but they had some great plays.

I am exhausted, so I am heading to bed as soon as the kids are done.

Where are you staying, Marci? What all do you plan on seeing?

Embassy Suites convention center. We have a long list. On Sunday we have a west wing tour, then we have the capitol tour at some point, want to do some kind of tourmobile thing so we can see the monuments and some of the sights, spy museum, smithsonian, bureau of engraving and printing, national cemetary, mount vernon and that might be about it. We are also going to see a Nationals/Rangers game that Friday night. I'm going to be exhausted, but I can't wait to show my boys all the wonderful things I've enjoyed over the years.

Anyone have suggestions for kid friendly restaurants? The only restaurant that is a must for me is Old Ebbitt.

Got the news that an uncle passed, but not the one I was talking about before, though it just a matter of time for him (he is back in the hospital).

Also my cousin that I posted a picture of her belly, just got the call that her water broke.

So in one day a family member passed and one will be born. (So goes the circle of life.)

Heidi-- I'm so sorry to hear about your Uncle. Good luck to your cousin on her labor. Please give us an update on her when you can.

My kids are with their dad and won't be back until tomorrow afternoon. Bob and Bethany went out of town to visit his mom. What should I do with myself this evening?

Sounds wonderful. Well, not the laundry part...

The last couple of times I just bought the Avery transfer paper from Walmart or Staples.

That's what we did too. It did as well as the paper we bought from the internet person.

Yes -- I'm so disappointed about the American History. It's been closed my last couple of trips. I think a small portion of some of the stuff is in the Air and Space. My SIL is doing the Holocaust with her two oldest, and I was glad I did it, but I'm not taking my boys. I think that will be on our next trip. We don't have a car -- we'll take the metro, then a bus. The congressman's intern in charge of tours said it was an easy trip. I hope they're right.

Any other places I'm forgetting that you think we should do? If we can't work out the duck tour, any interest in going to be baseball game?

I got a call from my girlfriend this evening that one of the little girls from the other 2nd grade class didn't make it home this afternoon. We have not heard any updates as to if she has been found as of yet. If you all could spare some good thoughts please send them this way. I don't think Emma knows the girl very well but she does know her. I haven't told her anything as of yet. I am hoping the news will have something to report.

Has anyone heard from Tom recently? I do not recall him posting anything for awhile. Although he may have posted in the Disboutique thread.

I ended up getting 5 new shirts today, plus some other stuff in addition to my passport photos.

I need to get to bed as I have to leave before 7am in the morning.

Wohoo 95 degrees tomorrow, then 96 and 95 Monday.
